The new Soul Messin’ Allstars cut Soul A Go Go salutes the legendary monthly PBSFM night Soul-a-Go-Go and celebrates Australia’s community spirit that is Melbourne soul; the scene, the musicians, the DJ’s and the fans. Penned by Jake Mason (Cookin’ On 3 Burners) and Eric McCusker (Mondo Rock), the track invites you to Realign your mojo…. And groove at the Soul-a-Go-Go.
Recorded and produced on the leafy Eastside of Melbourne by Mason, all-in sessions were recorded with some of Melbourne’s finest players including members of The Putbacks, Cookin’ On 3 Burners, The Teskey Brothers, Fulton Street, The Meltdown, The Wolfgramm Sisters and Cara Robinson.
