They look remarkably like EJ & The Echoes. Probably not surprisingly!

This photo of EJ was sent to me by Fred Reif a number of years ago.

A google search of 'Soulful Detroit EJ & the Echoes' will bring up a nice thread on the subject.

Thanks for the video Venus.

Hi David...Thankyou kindly for taking the time to comment on the group but that one is different to the video clip...I've just received an e-mail from Don Lehnoff (http://www.baltimorejam.org/ He has kindly tagged the members and given a link also :) Here: http://www.baltimorejam.org/Echoes/echoes.html plus I've attached the image

Amazing stuff from Mr Lehnoff.

Some great photos in particular.

Lead singer Walt must have had great patience to have these guys in the band!

Thanks for getting to the bottom of this subject.

Thankyou David...I was very surprised to receive the information so quick...sometimes can take months and even then still get nowhere...Just recently found out that The Fidelics at least 3 of them were The Intruders and that was from a past member of The Intruders who was kind enough to drop by and comment...yep I do like to read and if no info try to find some out about these amazing groups...Not everyone is aware of Soul Forums so youtube has been a big help to me as some of the singers or their families/friends can help with this :)

is this the why wonder group?

Searching around a bit I think the groups "may" be different

EJ and The Echoes may have been the following

E.J. Gronda (vocals, guitar), Bobby Genigeski (guitar, bass), Ron Richards (drums), Joe Doyle (bass), Manuel B. Holcolm (lead vocals, keyboards, 1965-70)

Image is EJ
