Tymes - People 1969

Great stuff - always loved the 45 and as usual amazing to see them performing it. 

Interesting it says 1968 though, my chart singles book shows it released Jan 69. 

Thanks for putting that up. Really enjoyed it.

Wasn't being at all train spotter-ish about it - I was just interested to see how high it got in the charts (16) and noticed it was released Jan 69 when the corner of the screen says '68

Interesting as well it sounds like a different version from the 45, faster and more punchy - presumably re-recorded with the TOTP orchestra? If so they did a good job for a change

Thankyou Chris...your right it is 1969...exact date: 6-3-69  I don't mind being corrected...all part of learning isn't it 

Just out of interest how did you find out / where did the clip come from?

One of my all time favourite groups. I remember where I first heard "people. It was at the Bin Lid in Dewsbury. If my memory serves me well wasn't it first released by Barbara Streisand. Other greats that were played on the Northern Scene all brilliant imo:- Here she Comes, The love that you're looking for and what would i do  Regards Fred.
