  1. There's no "1 C" on my copy- did notice a very faint scratched in "R' though.
  2. I don't know why anyone would boot this- plenty of copies around. Original copies are styrene and have ZTSC126413-1A on the "If This..." side and ZTSC126414-1A on the "You'll Soon Be Gone"side. Matrix info is stamped and not scratched in.
  3. My copy is also the same as yours.
  4. As far as I know... this was never booted. There was a "re-issue" on After Dark with the Seven Souls (?) on the flip side. What label do you have it on- Atco or Vent ?
  5. Both sides on you tube.
  6. Motown released "Come See About Me" five weeks after "Baby Love" was in the stores. Both still made it to the top of the charts!
  7. The Supremes definitely made it first. Nella heard it from the Supremes album and recorded it. He might have meant it was the first version on a 45 ?
  8. It wasn't released as a single in the U.S., it was available on his "I Just Don't Know What To Do.." album.
  9. The only other version I know of "All I Need" was by Bobby Taylor. This was unreleased also.
  10. I don't think there is a version by Brenda Holloway ( or by anyone else) that re uses the backing track to "All I Need". "Just Look What You Have Done" is kind of like it. If there is one, I'd like to know about it.
  11. Temptations- "That'll Be The Day" Carolyn Crawford- "Until You Came Along" Supremes- "It's All Your Fault" Stevie Wonder- "Why Don't You Come Home" Levi and the Vandellas- "Oh, I've Been Blessed"
  12. Here's a Jobete mailer with the same logo from 1972. I don't think that sounds like Chris Clark either.
  13. Inconquerables on Flodavieur ? Sorry - no pic to post .
  14. I'm on team Marvin for this- to me its the same old song. Before the trial started, Robin said he wrote the song with Pharrell. Once the trial started, he admitted to saying that but... he didn't mean it.
  15. I'd rather hear "Double Cookin' " but I don't have a problem with the Magicians version. Not a fan of this Kinettes/ Alvin Cash track. Sorry for the double post.
  16. I'd rather hear "Double Cookin' " but I don't have a problem with the Magicians. Not fond of the Kinettes/ Alvin Cash though.
  17. There was a problem with the Rolling Stones cover for "Some Girls". Whoever designed the cover never asked any of the Celebrities for permission to use their pictures. When they received objections, the label reissued the cover with colored squares over the photos or put "pardon our appearance- cover under construction" over the pics.
  18. That's about the same method i've been using and I also would recommend it .
  19. Thanks for putting the article together- lots of great info in there!
  20. That Swastika release was a one off- the owners changed the name to Cuca after complaints.
  21. I'll pm you - I don't want to hijack the thread.
  22. Right on both counts- I'm from the U.S. and live near the Windy City. I didn't even know there was a Thor label before this !
  23. Thanks for posting- I've never seen the Thor/ Nike promos before.
  24. I'm not including this for the design but for the label name. I've always wondered what they were thinking ??
  25. I do like the blue label version- I'm glad this black variation didn't last long .
