  1. The Exciters went for 572 pounds !
  2. The Monarch info is posted in the Look At Your Box section in the "Soul Source Guide To Record Collecting" thread.
  3. I have no idea how e-bay U.K. is set up but in the U.S., once I select R & B / Soul 45's and 7 inch - I can another use another filter with the following options in Item Location- within ____ miles, U.S. only, North America and Worldwide.
  4. Lots of similarities between these two-
  5. Not a lot of the same lyrics but enough to make you think of you know what .....
  6. I would just order one from Ace / Kent's website -
  7. I noticed the same thing a few weeks ago- suddenly most of the R& B/ Soul 45's were from the U.K. If you scroll further down on the page, you can pick another filter "U.S. only" if you don't want to look at all the U.K. listings.
  8. I think you're looking at Carole through the wrong lens. She was on tv today and was commenting on this clip. In her interview, she mentioned Aretha rarely if ever played the piano in her later years, when Carole saw this she was astounded and went into complete fan girl mode!

    RIP Aretha

Rest in Peace Aretha. Much R-E-S-P-E-C-T to you !!!
  10. Fine tribute to Aretha Like all of those song titles near the end!
  11. Really sad to hear about this!
  12. Here's the review from the June 27th, 1970 issue of Cashbox. I believe the 6-70 at the bottom of the label referred to the release date.
  13. I'm going with Luther Ingram too !
  14. I would say it's legitimate. The delta number would be from June, 1970 so it should be okay.
  15. The 45 received a 4 star review in April 1968 in Record World. It appears ARC had U.S. Offices in New York. It seems "You're So Good To Me" was designated as the A side.
  16. Further down in the listing , the seller described it as mint minus and looking like it was never played. Not sure what condition it really was. Let's see if more copies turn up .
  17. This mint - copy lasted less than 20 minutes today!
  18. I believe Mr. Yorey is still with us. Here's another pic of the group -
  19. The only thing I can find about them is an old post on SoulfulDetroit where someone says the group was from Jacksonville, Florida. There is no mention of group members. Here's additional info from Billboard from April 1966-
