I'm almost 100% sure the Argo release is a boot with a completely different B side. The release number is way out of sequence with the rest of the Argo releases.
It was released as a single in the U.S.- Warner Brothers #8154. B side is "World Of My Dreams". Came out in '75 during her hitless years. Great tune though !!
I just checked my copy the "Special Edition " ( 2nd version ?) and I've got "At The Top Of The Stairs" by the Formations as #76 in the Bubbling Under listing so I guess it's a internet problem.
I think the seller was only trying to be fair- he could have used the "mint if it wasn't completely covered in scuffs and scratches, cracked in half ,and played with a constant loud click" grade .
If you read the liner notes to "The Mirwood Story " CD , when Sherlie saw the names and the pictures of the group who were supposed to be the Belles, she said she didn't recognize any of them. I think because Brenda was signed to Tamla and Patrice to Capitol, they had a group ready for touring.
The Holloway sisters were busy moonlighters- I read somewhere they were also the Wooden Nickels for "Nobody But You". But don't quote me !

It must be a new scam. If it doesn't show up in your "my messages" on e-bay it wasn't sent by them or pay-pal. If you send it to spoof@ebay or spoof@pay-pal , they'll probably tell you it was a "phishing" e-mail.
I know I got one about a week ago congratulating me on the new boat (!!!) I purchased and thanking me for the fast payment I sent. Of course there was a link to click on for further details.
After looking at the pics... you are trying to convince yourself. I don't think it's even very good minus. I would ask for at least 50% back because of the overgrading or a full refund ! I know the Nu-rons 45 isn't easy to find but trust me, wait for another copy.

Once in awhile Simon did give the actual writers credit- "Girl Don't Make Me Wait",
"Love Shook" and "This Is The House Where Love Died" all by Pattie Brooks.
Now here's a good trivia question for you ! I was doing some spring cleaning this
last week and found a flyer from a record store- their hot pick of the week was .....
"Uptown Festival " by Sam and Kitty (!!!!!)
Was this an early pressing or something Simon did on the side ?
I would say Etta's is the original. Her version was recorded on August 23, 1967 and appeared on the flip of "Tell Mama". According to the "Essential Etta James" liner notes-
"... I sang "I'd Rather Go Blind", a song I'd composed with a talented guy who happened to be in jail. We wrote it in the day room of thr Chino prison, and when I sang it that day in Alabama, Leonard (Chess) had to get up and leave the room . He didn't want me to see the tears rolling down his cheeks. Later he said, in his Old World accent, "Etta... It's a mother...it's a mother".
I think Mr. Chess said it all.
Here's a few more -

I don't know Meaty, the rarest record in existence ???
Just got off e-bay and saw "Yes We Can Can" by the
Pointer Sisters which the seller describes as "mega rare" !
Not 100% sure on this, but ... The Argo label was renamed Cadet after a problem with the classical Argo label about who had rights to use the name. That's why the release numbers are the same. The original 45 was on the Argo label. The Chess release # is out of sequence with the rest of the releases and is probably a reissue. Hope this helps.
Thanks for adding the link- I could never get the video to play in the original e-mail
I received. Vince's name pops up on a lot of 60s releases from Philly, some 70s gems
- A Brother's Guiding Light etc. so there's much more to him then the Salsoul stuff.
Not sure how many people will be interested in this BUT Vince "Mr. Salsoul Orchestra" Montana turned 80 on February 12th. There's a video on youtube- just type in "Vince Montana" and it will pop up. Nice soundclip from Double Exposure runs through it all !
I was able to get on the website today with no problems so I was happy about that.
I agree with Pete- lots of results never show up on the site- really don't think it's
worth the fees they want to charge.
Thanks for all your help !!
