SATURDAY OCT 12th AND THE GUEST DJS ARE STAN EVANS AND LORNA BEATTIE. BOTH DJS HAVE APPEARED BEFORE, STAN ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. STAN IS ONE OF THE RESIDENTS AT THE SINK CLUB LIVERPOOL LOCATED IN THE BASEMENT OF HEEBIE JEEBIES. THE SUNDAY AFTERNOON SESSIONS REGULARLY PULLING IN OVER 200 ATTENDEES. LORNA, AS WELL AS HAVING BEEN A REGULAR DJ AT THE PRESTATYN WEEKENDER, WAS A GUEST DJ AT THIS SUMMER'S BLACKPOOL WEEKENDER, IN THE R&B ROOM AND HAS FEATURED AT THE JACARANDA CLUB IN LIVERPOOL ANOTHER POPULAR NW VENUE. JOINING THEM WILL BE DEKA AND MICHAEL ELLIOT. THIS WILL BE OUR LAST EVENT PLANNED AT BARRELS THIS YEAR. ROLL ON THIS SATURDAY.

Many thanks to all the djs for their efforts on Saturday night. Music was a very varied mix of known and lesser played tracks. I'd also like to thank those who attended both local, south northumberland and the tyneside crowd. We'll be back on MAY 18th to do it all again.

Less than a week to go and we're back in BARRELS. Dicka and Deka are well known in the north east, Trisha used to run the excellent mod night at the County Hotel, Dalkeith, near Edinburgh went under the 'KITTEN CASINO' banner, her latest venture is 'CASINO ROYALE' based in Leith, Edinburgh. Michael Elliot is picking up a fair number of Ska/Jamaican soul gigs on both sides of the border, so expecting to hear a wide range of music on the night from the djs.

Very good turnout on saturday though still not enough locals checking it out. Travellers from tyneside and scotland made for a lively audience, so many thanks to them for coming. The music was suberb, quality tunes throughout the evening so special thanks to the djs for their efforts. We will be back SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 23rd doing it all again.
