  1. Here's a pic of mine. I was advised by JM that it was a 70's boot!
  2. $122.50 At current ebay exchange rate = £76.61. As I recall there are a couple of label designs that impact on price. Mine is the "star" design. The one sold was the plain blue one. The other side now seems to be the "current" sound. KB.
  3. Thanks Ken, Weird and interesting!! I think Mac could have done with Katie to calm him down!
  4. How about.... The Dells - Wear It On Our Face.

  6. With all the recent "unpleasantness", I thought I'd highlight a good purchase/sales experience with a Soul Source member. After a recent visit to USOS, as usual, my wants list was increased! After a search on ebay for a couple of months and then getting "sniped" on the wanted 45, I spotted it for sale on the Anoraks Corner website run by Dave Flynn. The price was right and I e-mailed Dave. Despite the fact he's in JAPAN, he got straight back to me, was more than fair with the postage costs and the deal was agreed. As I was off on holiday, I asked him to hold postage for a week until I returned. We returned last weekend. Dave e-mailed on the Sunday and said he would post ( from Japan) on Monday 24th August. The disc was delivered in "Bomb-Proof" packaging on Wednesday 26TH just 2 days later!! It actually arrived by special delivery, before 9am, beating the usual post. I'd just like to thank Dave and recommend the website and service to anyone who hasn't tried it yet. https://www.anorakscorner.com/ Thanks again Dave

  23. Thats right Pete, It was Malc Pitt. The glass eye thing was his party trick!! I think it's been mentioned before but it popped out a few times at Nighter's. Most memorable was in Mr M's one night. Everyone looking for it - you can just imagine can't you! He recently got married and lives in the Wednesfield area. His brother Kevin is attending nighters and soul nights still. If you check the 3 photo's I posted a few weeks ago, you'll see Mac in the red jumper at Wigan. Steve Powell has recently started attending a few local soul nights (Goodyears etc). You can tell him a mile off from his dance style. Still looks the same. All the best Bod (I'm the one on the far left in the red jumper photo)
  24. If the Devil had cast his net that day he'd have been pleased with the catch!
