  2. Do you think it could be a Jamaican issue? I have the UK demo if you want to compare. Cheers Kev Bod
  3. Billy Watkins always makes me smile...quote... "they dig my fast delivery !" "they love the way I move about !!" and the best.. "I don't make a mess, I get in and out !!!" I didn't like it until I realised it was intended as a "nod and a wink" have a laugh type thing.
  4. Hi Dave, Is this OK or do you need it to be e-mailed? I could also do the whole record or pop it in an RCA sleeve if you prefer. cheers Kev Bodley

  7. I had a record caught by the customs charges about 4 months ago. £15 handling charge PLUS 20% of declared value. This was a £55 ish record so worked out at £26 costs = 47%!!!! The worst thing was, the 45 was yellow wax and decribed as Mint Minus. It LOOKED mint minus but played POOR MINUS. I retuned it and got a refund but not the customs charges.

  9. Muriel Day. Jeanette Harper. Were poo, are poo and will always be ..... (am I supposed to say "In My Humble Opinion" now)
  10. The original green label looks like Mushy Peas from the Chip Shop (see below) The Boot is quite a nice, bright green.
  11. Hi, Sorry, I should have said. The boot has 5544 scratched in BOTH sides and NO MZL squiggle thingy. Cheers
  12. Hi Sebastian, Check this thread as it may be helpful. Also, here's the boot and original that I scanned side by side. The original is the ligher green. Original has 5444 scratched on Destination side and 5544 on Crying side Cheers Kev Bod
  13. Never noticed that before. Thanks
  14. Hi, Here's an original Jimmy C. Nashville Matrix stamp in bottom left corner. Cheers Kev Bod.
  15. Green Door is also an interesting inclusion. I assume that it's there because it's in tip-top condition. Never been that difficult to pick up. Still, with Solomon Burke going for a massive amount the other month, who knows!! The Tobi Legend ISSUE will be one to watch. Any suggestions for a finishing price on that??????
  16. I've also seen a few red vinyl Ninandy White demo's from europe and been unsure. Was there a legit red vinyl?? Cheers Kev Bod
  17. Groovy, laid back stuff!! Marketts, Bella Dalena https://youtu.be/O2zHOghco-g
  18. Here's a scan of the Boot (on top) and the original (below) together for comparison. Personally, I found it a difficult original to track down. I was told by a major dealer he was offered and took £400 in trades for a copy recently by a respected DJ. I have loved the tune since the 70's and think it fits well with the current fashion of funkier tunes. Cheers Kev Bod
  19. Australian Mr Flood. (Sorry if previously added) Kev Bod
  20. Little Richard - Don't want to discuss it - Chillian OKEH (my fav foreigner I own) Cheers Kev Bod
  21. Thanks for that Dave, Any opinion on value? I know popsike isn't the "be-all-and-end-all" but it comes up with prices between $300 and $850, with £1:$1.83 in 2004 when it hit $850 = £464. I'd be interested to hear. (p.s. wanna sell yours )
