  1. The Cold Blood you have is Canadian. Here's some info which includes yours.... https://www.popsike.com/php/quicksearch.php?searchtext=cold+blood+good+woman&x=23&y=14
  2. I've still got mine!! I bought it in about 1979 or 1980 from Wigan. (didn't reply earlier as I didn't think you serious about trying to count 'em up!) cheers, Kev Bod
  3. I didn't know it has ever been booted. Apparently 1973!!! Interesting comments by JM on his site - the rarest Northern Soul Bootleg!! https://www.raresoulman.co.uk/d/192669/PERSIONETTES
  4. Just had another look Pete. It looks like someone has "added" the F/W on this Boot to give credability!! It looks as if it's been scratched in with a PIN as it's a bit more prominent than the other markings!! I got it from ebay a few years ago. Buyer described it as a boot and I didn't take much interest ( well you wouldn't when the postage is as much as the record!!) Cheers
  5. Post number 3 gives the full JM auction description. I have a Boot and Original to compare. The Boot is a darker yellow than the original. If you hold the Boot with the scratched in matrix 1168 A @ 6o'clock the F/W mark is @ 3 o'clock. No idea how many copies. I think it may be one of those records in demand by other collectors as well. I agree with Pete about there being loads of certain things available late 70's. Add Frank Beverly on Sassy to Pete's list (either £3 or £5) Cheers Kev Bod.
  6. Hi Rod, Just checked and the "heartaches" side has exactly that layout - ABC 13 13096 Looks like it should be OK. Thanks again for the confirmation Kev Bod.
  7. Thanks for the reply Pete. I think it's OK as well but was a little concerned at the thought that non-Bell Sound ones were snide. It looks too well produced. I seem to recall thoses Yum Yum repo's looking a bit less well manufactured - mind you the last one I saw was Bill Frisby's when they first came out. My eyes worked alot better then.
  8. Hi Gents, This is a scan of my copy. No "Bell Sound" stamp. I bought it earlier this year from a major dealer. Is it a Boot/Repro ? It has nice smooth vinyl and scratched in numbers. It also has an LW scratched in which is also on some of my other ABC/Paramounts. The paper has a smooth , slightly gloss finish. I've had a quick look at a couple of ABC and ABC Paramount records I have (not that many though). Most have a Bell Sound stamp but not all. One without is a stock copy. I'd like to hear any views. Ta
  9. I didn't realise it had been booted, thanks Pete. I have a demo, I bought from Tim Brown on a list this year. It's vinyl, had no spots/pitting in the run out and NO machine stamped matrix/number. Print is nice and sharp. Just checked popsike and saw this ABC demo rather than the usual (which I have) ABC Paramount. This is apparently styrene. Kev Bod.
  10. A little way to go before getting to this level!! https://www.popsike.com/Little-Joe-RomanonTUFF-Very-Rare-Northern-Soul/140018638607.html
  11. I see from a note on the JM site that the Cotillion release was withdrawn and replaced with Mojo Hannah. The Cotillion release also has the different B Side to the other "Run" releases. I don't know the story behind this, any info? Also there was the Contempo release in 1975. Did this have another mid 70's revival ?
  12. Yes, it's from South AFrica. Says 1971 on the label so must have been released at the same time as MOJO/pop chart.
  13. Think I've posted this before, but just in case....
  14. It's listed in JM's Rarest of the Rare with a sound clip. https://www.raresoulman.co.uk/index.php/rarest-of-the-rare/all/19 (hope that link works)
  15. Hi Steve, pm sent. Thanks, Kev Bod
  16. Hi Folks, On that screen shot item, I'm not the seller OR a Bidder. It was just a 45 I was watching. I get the same info on other 45s as well, even if they are not on my watch list. My screen just changed yesterday. Didn't reset anything or adjust any bits and bobs. Only works for me on ebay.com so far. A bit of a mystery as some seem to have this facility and some don't.
  17. Hi Mick, It also works like that for items I'm not watching
  18. Hi Mike, Not sure how to copy screen onto this reply but here's a PDF screen print
  19. how many. Just interesting I suppose. Gives you an idea of likely competition if you think you've found a hidden gem!!
  20. Hi Barry, It's items on my watch list accessed via ebay.com. The number of watchers isn't shown on ebay.co.uk Not sure why/how. Not items I have for sale.
  21. I've just noticed that when you look at a record on eBay, it now tells you how many people are watching it. I've not been able to see this before. It's intereting to see how many people are watching certain records. No doubt some may bid, but some just curious. Is this new or have I not been viewing the most upto date version?? Kev Bod
  22. Hi, I'm no expert (get that in before anyone else!) This one states that CSS is Malasian... https://www.45cat.com/record/css3017 This gives a bit more info and says it's Singapore.. https://rateyourmusic.com/list/smithy57/the_australian__tateside_label___the_oss_series_1964_1968 although I've also seen records listed as being from SIngapore with a different prefix. Not sure if that helps Cheers Kev Bod
