Great song. Kev Bod
  5. When I bought a record via eBay from this chap after what was a very aggresive set of messages, it arrived with his business card enclosed. As if he was expecting me to give him a call for a nice chat. I've had it on my notice board for 4 years so I never forget (as if you could). Remarkable attitude.
  6. Here you go. Just so you can re-live those happy Sunday afternoon's!!!! All the best Kev Bod
  7. This person sold a copy of Yvonne Vernee which finished on 22nd March 2014 for $1,792. The name was slightly wrong on the eBay ad. (I didn't win that) and no feedback yet so hope all is ok for the buyer. cheers Kev Bod
  8. This is on popsike from 2011 with similar description... https://www.popsike.com/Don-Gardner-Cheatin-Kind-on-Sedgrick-nothern-soul-nm/260812377756.html No feedback for the item in sellers profile from 2011 either positive or neg. The centre of the 2 records have a different background. Not sure what all that means (if anything !!) KB

  16. Fingers crossed, something will turn up. Strange, but it's one of those tunes that I thought was OK when it was first played, but wasn't at the top of my list. BUT over the years, I've found I like it more and more. It's only took me about 36 years to get round to making an effort to find one!!
  17. Another "bump" up the list for this one please. If you have a copy for sale, please PM with price and condition. Thanks
  18. Just a quick "Bump" on this. Anyone with a copy for sale?

  21. Hi, I bought the boot/reissue with the staggered archer stamp in the 70's and still have it. Last year, there was an issue for sale on eBay from a seller of mixed styles of music who didn't post outside the USA. Boba (member on this site) kindly bid for me and posted the record over. It doesn't have the archer stamp, but I know what you mean about "feeling" kind of right!. The vinyl on the run in is nice and smooth but the archer stamped boot/reissue has a slight dimpled/uneven look. Last years copy has a bit of writing on it (a date) and a felt pen "X". I know this can be added to make things look "real" but the seller and person they got it from clearly had no interest in selling to the UK. I'm happy to accept that it as another re-issue but would not be suprised either way. All the best.
  22. Jimmy Thomas - No Trouble/Springtime - UK Spark. I bought this from "Blue Max" Millward's shop in the late 70's. It was in amongst his old collection that had been cherry picked and sifted many times. I bought it (about £1 or £2) in my search for "something different" . Basically, no-one else had wanted it after he sold up. Max told me that he'd played "No Trouble" at the Cats a few times. It's still in the cardboard cover with his writing on!! Anyway, it's never really struck me as anything special. Last year, I noticed a copy go through eBay for £150+!! I was suprised but put it down as an auction fluke. I watched another on eBay this week finish at about £135!! Also, it's appeared in the "wants" section on the site. It seems to be the "Springtime" side that gets the attention. Is/has this been getting plays? Is it more a "mod" record? Just interested as I wouldn't have thought it a 3 figure record - but I think everything should be much less . 23. The only one I have is the Steve Karmen - Breakaway EP done for Pontiac Motors. 6 tracks. I think I've seen one on eBay a few times by Sidney Barnes promoting a Furniture Shop or something! I assume there'll be some Motown type stuff done Cheers Kev Bod
