    Someone on Soul Source a few years back commented on a thread discussing venues that describe themselves as Original Vinyl Only - OVO. They put forward the idea that venues such as the one you attended should advertise as playing "Carvers, Reissues And Pressings". This could then be abbreviated to "CRAP" and they could advertise as such. You would then have CRAP DJ's and CRAP venues playing CRAP. No offence intended.

    If it's just to play your records, I'd recommend a NAD 3020. I bought one new in about 1987 and still going strong !!! Very basic, no frills, good enough to make a right old racket in most homes. Simply plug your deck and speakers into the back and away you go. Can also plug in CD and Tuner (and tape deck!!) Plenty second hand on eBay - about £80

    Not unless someone has put a scan/copy label on a Bootleg/reissue/carver. This could be sold by the person doing the copying or someone who has previously got hold of a copy. I'm sure you've seen the other thread on this subject. Cheers.

    Just listened to a couple on Youtube and some do sound slightly faster but that happens with a number of songs on there. By the way, that's a LOT of ironing - 4 Album's!!!
