    Not sure how many times in total but went most weekends from 1976 until 1979 - still like the smell of brut as it takes me all the way back to my youth plus almost got the sack for falling asleep at work most Monday's - Used to get back late afternoon then go out Sunday night (was totally wacked) ooh happy days - The main thing I hated at Wigan was the sweat dripping off the ceiling - especially when it dripped on my blouse ......yuk!

    Love this - Right flak jacket on, helmet on tight, now if I can just get to the bomb shelter before the raid starts - very funny I think most threads started should end with this. A group of us travel each week to different venues and can travel anything up to 1-2.5 hours if needs must to go to a decent venue - Having said that sometimes we travel and its not what was on the tin.....

    Love both Loving is Really My Game and Cut Your Motor Off but my gripe is what I call Hill Billy music - like........... oh I don't know the titles of the records but will get back to you on this when I remember.......... I do know I just wanna slap my thigh to it ..........

    Oh me too - he was simply amazing and made the hairs all over my body stand up but then so did the Masqueraders when they sang "HOW" truly truly awesome

    Can't remember the artiste but..... the lyrics were......"Do Do Do Whatcha Feel " song keeps coming up in my head - wasn't that a modern anthem? Was great to dance to I defo know that

    For me:- Maze featuring Frankie Beverley - London about 25 + years ago Roy Ayres - London (how could I forget) The Masqueraders - Prestatyn Phil Perry - Prestatyn Archie Bell and the Drells - New York All were absolutely amazing and made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up - they were awesome Oooh and not fogetting Luther Vandross - Sheffield Arena and SIMPLY RED 5 times

    I do - i remember talking about him in another thread dancing to "Captain of my Ship" can still seeing him now - what a brilliant mover -arms legs and his whole body was in rythymn - loved to see him move

    Well thanks for trying anyway its very good of you - If you do get one (heres hoping) I could always pick it up from a soul night in the future of if your at the Blackpool weekender perhaps which is my next jaunt. Only problem would be I haven't got a clue what you look like - although suppose could ask folk if they know who " Pete S "is - most people are in cognito on here (including me) LOL - Cheers though for your reply
