Have you not been to Soul In The Sun and watched the 'No-one There' performance? That's one of the reasons we stopped going. Maybe it's just me, but I really don't get it. It's handbagging taken to the extreme in my view.

Edwin Starr - Agent Double-O Soul On Ebay

I understand your point. We'll see if it gets relisted. Anyway, time to go and listen to a few tunes, and sup a couple. Thanks to all for the comments. ATB John -
Edwin Starr - Agent Double-O Soul On Ebay
John Moffatt replied to John Moffatt's topic in Look At Your Box
Oh definitely. This one may be a bit extreme, but there are plenty of gullible individuals about. There was a piece on here recently about a couple of Stardusts making serious money. Is it just a battle between common sense and that overpowering must-have mentality, and a seller keen to try and exploit it? -
Edwin Starr - Agent Double-O Soul On Ebay

The alternate, rejected version recently discovered in Ebay's vaults? Never thought of that ! -
Am I missing something here, especially the bit about one going on Ebay for $330? https://www.ebay.co.u...=item5646f7104d My copy cost me about £15 not too long ago. Anyone got any ideas?

Pure, and very sad, coincidence, I actually pulled this out on Tuesday to play at the next Darnall Horti. Haven't played it or heard it for years. Might add the Little Star gem as a contrast now. Pure magic.

To follow an earlier mention..... Nuff sed!

Hairline Crack - And Still Has Bidders Wtf
John Moffatt replied to Glynthornhill's topic in Look At Your Box
In its time, admittedly, a brilliant record, but is this just another example of the must-have mentality for some over-played worn-out oldie? -
Hi mate, interesting that you can't sell your bootlegs. Like most, I suppose, I collected a load of boots in the 70s, 'cos I didn't know any better. Nowadays I'm trying to replace them with originals, where I can afford to. The point is that, being mainly well-known tunes, I can sell my boots every time, but if I list a few not-so-well-known originals, they just gather Ebay dust. I have barely sold an original in months, either on the web or from a box at events. Perhaps if I put them out at £1 each they might go, but I've got my doubts even then. Very strange.

Didn't think so, to be honest, nor Lord Beginner - Cricket Lovely Cricket, which is Calypso anyway. It's a good question you've posed .

There are a couple of obvious candidates like 10cc - Dreadlock Holiday, or Booker T - Soul Limbo. After that, it's a struggle.

Also available on VeeJay 412 strangely. I have one, though not for sale (DJ copy, cost £30). Hope this helps John

All are in VG++ condition or better. Some look unplayed. Some are very rare. If you think I'm asking too much, please make me an offer, and I'll always try to discount multiple purchases: e.g. you can have the lot for £160. I've added YouTube links for those I could find. Please add £1.50 P&P or £2.50 for recorded. Please PM me if interested. Hi Folks I'm looking for a copy of the above, on Duke 318, in VG++ condition or better. I'm seen it on a couple of sites, in not great condition, for £15 to £20. I think those are well over price. If anyone is happy to part with one for around a tenner, please send me a PM. Thank very much John NOW SORTED. THANKS VERY MUCH.
