  1. "There she is" which is the A side on the British copy and also done by Baby Washington I am sure.
  2. Well sorry to say this Pete but I got one, found it in a ice cream tub in a record fair in Surrey for 80p in the 8ts. When I got home I pushed the middle out so it would look like a US Disc........... (a regret, one of many in the early record buying day at a time of I'll come back for that later attitude which after looking at JM site now, I still struggle to sleep) Andy
  3. I returned from holiday last week with a two boxes on my doorstep one was 30 cm squared and I though what the hell is that to myself ,as I pulled up in my car.On the side was a invoice which stated that it was contained a us record called natural four - Hanging on to a lie. The other box contain records as well they had both been left there for about four days which is just down from the local pub untouched and all fine. very lucky

  8. I remember Wades going cheap at the 100 club ,wish I bought one now. Bid on SONNY DAYE SLY, SLICK & WICKED on Bad Boys the other night at 0230 in the morning was hoping to get it for under $300.It went for $1557.00! near woke the wife but then came back to planet earth. Andy
  9. The record in question must be Lou Pride only 300 originals pressed and was booted the day after it went big ,wasn't it?.I have always believed and think it was very common including the dealers to think all copies are boots.
  10. Only a few from me: DJ who play records in stead of CDs (sound quality is important) Snooker tables Wooden dancefloors Lack of drink promotions at venues Unknown records Old people clown porn young people dancing without a partner Small venues run by a few mates and there is a regular do 30mins down road Any form of black music People dressed as pirates. The Spainish
  11. Went there less than a couple of years ago and there is nothing soulful, or over the border in spain I did go everywhere. The nightlife kicks off very late over there about after eleven so some quiet bars turn very very lively about midnight. Andy d

  13. This is an old hat, But you got to understand that the scene is split into rare music venues that people travel for the music ie Burnley, lifeline,DDA ect. Then we have the social scene where people like a drink meet up with their friends and their music needs to be know to them and there is loads of these about in the north some just a few miles apart. All these venues when you speak to the hosts have good reasons for there dates and venues. However there is very few that are willing to travel these days same faces that do,I m trying to go to Amlwch Sat and I live in Yorkshire so will prob past 15 dos on route which is mad really. I m knacked so if this seems not to make sense well good night, Andy
