  10. Lee, there is a great scene in Dublin that is far more open minded and across the board. Attracts a lot of newbies that don't pigeon hole everything into slots to make it acceptable. Danny Duggan was leading the charge and there are any number of sergeants at hand in John Dunne, Karl Mitchell and so on..... I lived there for 7-8 years and had a great time not having the politics to deal with... I will try and send you an email for Danny... Mark T

  16. What is the going rate for this on Gamble in Mint? Thanks MarkT
  17. Wigan 1977, Walked into my first All Nighter at Balcony level and looked down to a full floor dancing to the VanDykes "Save My Love For A Rainy Day". When the clapping started, I nearly fell over the top!! Awesome memory that changed my life!!
  18. No way.... I love to buy cheapies too.... Thinking about one of these Soul packs just to experiement with something new.... That's how I started getting into the funkier side of NS.... So much good stuff still to be found I think....
  19. Kegsy, I guess you misunderstood my poorly made comment... It was meant more in the spirit of not getting too hung up on Chicago, Detroit, or a cable or so on... Just buy what you like........I don't see any reference to price.... Just passion...
  20. How about just buying something on OVO that you really like? Mark T
  21. I had labels reversed on first one... next set was fine! mark T
  22. Worth nothing at all..... I 'll take it though :-) MT
  23. It looks nice! No other reason....... The same logic would question why pay thousands for a rare record just for the label.... But we do! My personal limit does not allow some big ticket items.... But I have several hundred mid ticket 200-500 all bought just because they are on a different label, the real one! Each to our own I guess ....
  24. In John's defence, He thought I was popping at him.... I knew what I was buying and totally satisfied. I would just like to know is this another one of the IL batch? I thought I had them all listed out......
  25. Correct, I purchased and will be happy. I am not making any allegations on you John, but you have to admit it is interesting to discover the source, not you, the originators that pressed these up! I also have a full set of the Levine ones, also only for my box, as I don't spend more than a few hundred on tracks. I also have some of the early ones, yum yum as etc. I am not criticising you, just how the hell these things got made, and by whom. i shall continue to buy real vinyl for 95% of time but I am very happy to have a nice lookalike for something that fetches 5k plus! So look forward to receiving, and giving you 100% feedback, because I knew I was buying a lookalike. MT
