well this is going well when i got the first reply of the night, i thought we`d reached an immediate conclusion some intresting opinions though, when you think about it, theres a lot of white artist contributions to our scene
first record i spent £100 on pete, got some funny looks off the older lads from york that night, still here it now "you must be nuts it`ll only get pressed and come down in price" then a few weeks after i bought cecil washington now that made em frown
can see your point pete, suppose it was a time and place thing, funny how many people ive talked to who disliked john leech, then after the jc messina one came the lamont cranston band, do we thik richard was a secret rock fan
For a few years now ive been picking things up that remind me of my youth, anyway friday i picked up a copy of JC MESSINA-TIME WON`T LET ME-TOM KING, fond memories of this when richard had it covered as bob seger, so i played it to diane this morning who said it sounded like the who whats your thoughts i like it anyway
A couple not mentioned yet, i love to hear
EVERYTHING I TOUCH TURNS TO TEARS
HE`LL NEVER LOVE YOU LIKE I DO
good old wigan tunes you never hear now
think the worst for me was RONNIE & BURT-LOVE WHERE HAVE YOU GONE-YUK!!!!!!
Bit like looking through a sales box, when you have no money FATAL, you allways find that long time want at the right price, ive learnt not to look nowadays if ive no money for records
