  6. Was thinking that myself, its a double edged sword though theyve still got to be bought, and the winning bids don`t seem to be affected

  9. https://cgi.ebay.com/J-D-Bryant-northern-Ra...6QQcmdZViewItem After the recent junior mcants, and lester tipton another super rare one on the bay, so who`s up for a guess at what this will go for
  10. understand what your saying mick, but i worked in a retail enviorement and all invoice sales were connected to stock records via computer, so as one item was sold it adjusted your stock accordingly, the other scenario here is if i`d have had say a demo copy of this record and sold it to buy this issue copy wich in my opinion is much rarer where then would that leave me? in my opinion should retail over the counter stock be listed on e-bay? or indeed listed on any other site ie gemm etc at the same time as a buy it now proposition on e-bay?
  11. Have any fellow sourcers come across this one, last night my wife found an item she wanted on e-bay buy it now, it was listed as two in stock, so she paid for it only then to recieve an e-mail this morning saying sorry out of stock? a full refund has been recieved, i phoned the store this morning to ask about this and was told they were sold last week? just wondered if anyone had come across this before, i found the item last week and they had four in stock surely if they had been sold through e-bay there stock should have been adjusted accordingly, the item in question was at a remarkably low price as well

  16. On thinking about this the golden years of the cover ups has past, those years when people didn`t have the technology or knowledge of the music as there is now, if a new record turns up now that isn`t known then surely with the amount of knowledge amassed over the past decades, it must be a rare record, and if so then why bother covering it
  17. Excuse my ignorance, but i allways thought the purpose of a cover up was in order to personalize that record to a certain dj, and once more copies had surfaced the secret was out, wich seems to be the case here
  18. Exactly thats what i was getting at chalky, the challenge of finding out, i have been told who it is but by three different sources, with two different names, so the plot thickens it was allways a big race to find out who searlings c/ups where
  19. well put young sir theres two ways of thinking, ive allways been of the opinion from one perspective that was the idea of cover ups to find out who it was
  20. EIGHT COPIES [at least] covered up, so just how many are there? how long has it been covered? i find it very suprising, that theres eight at least covered, never used to happen eight dj`s with the same cover
