  8. I used to use a red gola holdall as my nighter bag , this also doubled as the bag i used for work during the week. The place where i worked had a Boiler in the tea room, so iused to take fresh milk, a jar of sugar & tea bags, i`d forgot to take out the sugar before the friday oldies allnighter & was pulled in manchester station on the saturday morning. I`m sure they thought they`d hit the jackpot, when my bag was searched "OH YES & WHATS THIS THEN?" "EEEER SUGAR"!!! "YEAH RIGHT" was the reply and i was held for 2 hours F.F.S

Personally i love em, i think they add just a bit of something to the record, especially when you hear the ONE, TWO , THREE FOUR, sort of makes you imagine the recording studio, Who would have done this sort of thing in the recording studio?. Suppose one of my all-time fave spoken intro`s has to be Tony & tyrone Please operator, anybody know of any obscure ones please

  16. I`m the same as you swish i love hearing different versions, it wasn`t until recently i heard LULU`S version of TRY TO UNDERSTAND, One wow moment that allways sticks in my mind was. I`d bought a copy of Clifford Curry-Can`t get a hold of myself, many years ago late 70`s & as per usual i flipped it over when i got home, and heard AINT NO DANGER for the first time. Now that was a WOW moment-REGARDS HARRY
