Know what you mean mate, best one ever was i once asked about john & the wierdest bootleggs on TIE RECORDS different widths of run out grooves only by millimeters and other stuff blew my head to bits
According to jm`s book wich i`m reading patton has also been booted without the AIM stamp, havn`t got the bootlegg guide to hand but there is a big write up in there about maybe a quick pm to john manship may clear this up for you
Dunno about that mate can only give you info avalable and as i understood it nearly bought a boot myself many years ago luckily my mate interviened and stopped me, according to jm`s price guide and i quote ALEXANDER PATTON-A LIL LOVIN SOMETIME-CAPITOL 5677 [TITLE ON ONE LINE WITH DAISY STAMP]
ALEXANDER PATTON-A LIL LOVIN SOMTIME-CAPITOL5677 [TITLE ON TWO LINES WITH "AIM" STAMP]
THINK THE KEY IS IN THE ARTIST SPELLING AND THE DEADWAX STAMPS HOPE THIS HELPS
YEH got my info from that book aswell, like i said very clever these and duped a lot of people when they first appeared along with jerry cook, think they used the original company blank labels aswell allways look for daisy stamp if not sure
Also the spelling of the artist name is different ie patton/patten very clever as with jerry cook i hurt on the other side, correct about the dasy stamp though
Felt somwhat like a horrible sunday morning i once had in the early eighties on my way home from a place in lancashire please don`t do that three times
Thank the lord, my wifes hoovered all the pile off the carpet, decorated three bedrooms, polished me jack russell about ten times, she`s been in bits Well done guys AHH back to the quiet life
I know its drifting off the subject slightly but does anyone remember detroit emeralds at the casino, YUK! all i remember is a medly of feel the need that lasted about half an hour
Happy days indeed matey, stand corrected as you reliably informed me at the weekend it was £120 not £80 long time ago now thats my excuse anyway, good to see you on here at last.
