  1. Hi Ian wasn`t another copy found a couple of years ago in an american record shop, or something along those lines, this record brings back probably my most embarrasing moment, as a young lad i never new [forgive the pun] about f wilson, just the eddie foster boot, to wich i pressumed there was an original, so when johnathan woodliffe was selling up and he had this in his box, he was talking and i said how much for this mate? he said FOUR to wich i promptly handed over a fiver awaiting my change, when he laughed along with all around saying NO FOUR HUNDRED MATE! scuttled off into the dark and hid

  19. yeh they were issues eddie, it could have been me or the other four lads from york who did the same that night
  20. The night something hit me on the head, i bent down to pick it up and it was a plastic bag full of blue capsules, one of my mates promptly took them off me, then came back about an hour later and gave me a load of cash, back to the record bar for me
  21. Ok mate thanks for the advice will do
  22. Think what it was to me was within a very short period of time from knowing relitavly nothing about northern soul music and the scene as a whole, indeed never reall stepping foot out of yorkshire, i was taken to this place that was the ultimate night out and from then on loved every minute of the place, after it shut it was very hard to find a place that gave me what wigan gave me, the clifton hall at rotherham gave me back a certain amount of this and was a great venue in its own right, but there was something about that place for me personally, and believe me over the years ive been to some great venues and met some of the best people ive met in my life, but i don`t think i could ever replace those nights, i am a great believer in moving on the scene and it will be with me forever, just those nights were so special to me, and the memories will live with me forever, remember this is only my opinion
  23. So SWISH was right then, and it was all there just down the road from us in york
