you have to feel it in your soul..seems like the artist were singing about real episodes that occured in their life and wanted their cries to be heard..and literally sang their hearts out..and with that, theres so much feeling in the song when you play it..thats just my opinion..everyone has their own perspective..but songs like "My heart is broken" by the Four Dudes just does it for me..I was listening to the Charles Russel interview on the Sitting in the park show and he tells the story about the song "My heart is broken" and how he came up with the lyrics..very personal and emotional and that gives the song even more feeling. I agree Peggy ..alot of the very rare one of a kind 45s you really cant even set a value..theyre priceless..it boils down to basically what the seller is willing to sell it for or on the other hand what the buyer is willing to spend on it..but thanks

not trying to speak on this guy I dont know but I would like to comment on this thread.alot of shady sellers sit on quanity of a record and then sell each copy at a one of a kind price and its messed up to take advantage of people who got so much love for the music that they would pay any price..theres really nothing the buyer can do but carma will definitley fix that! but you really cant get mad because it is business! and people do buy records and re-sale them for more..I like to buy,sale and trade just to keep up with new material and I cant imagine paying more for a 45 than I could sell it myself although I do make the mistake from time to time

ebay is set up for the buyer..the sellers get screwed..sellers cannot leave negative feedback and buyers can leave all the negative they want..I auctioned off a 45 last month and it had about 6 bidders,the 45 sold for $67 bucks and the next day the buyer sends me email and flat out tells me that he is not paying for the record..so I replied back "why did you bid then" I have to wait 1 month for a fee reimbursment and the a-hole has the nerve to threaten me with negative feedback?? how the hell does that work??and how can a seller determine whether or not they're dealing with a solid source?
