  1. Can anyone give me an approx' price for the second press of Stubborn heart on US La-Cindy? Friend has one and need to know what it's worth. Thank you
  2. I got mine through and all looks OK to me, not trasnsparant or brown, stars on the SNTD side, but matrix on run out states WB7662 QAL-0078-DJ 1B, and IMNBWYW same but 1A. Even more confusion then, as the stars are on the 'B' side according to the matrix??? HELP!!!! LOL!
  3. On the way to the Torch from Leeds. Coach full of Soulies got stopped by the DS and they escorted the coach to the local police station. This was the night when Major Lance was on too, so we all thought we'd miss the show. They kept us all for 4 hours sat in a room with our hands on our heads, wouldn't let us put them down, ached like hell. Wouldn't let anyone go to the loo either cos they said we'd all have to give urine samples. Searched everything, and I mean everything, including taking apart Cassette players, Discotrons (who remembers those), and even went to the extent of opening Polo packets to see if anything had been hidden down the middle. Eventually they let us go, I think they did find some stuff, can't really remember, I know I was clean and relieved. Got to the Torch just as the Major was going on stage, so all was well in the world :-)
  4. Just got this through from the States, Decent condition, 1 light scratch but plays well. Paid $47 including postage.
  5. Thanks Richard. Got it for £2 anyway so not too bothered.
  6. So the demo without 'DJ copy not for sale' and the runout '2002 A' is a boot then??
  7. Well! f**k knows then. The one I have just bought has stars on the SNTD and the matrix in WB7662 QAL 0077--DJ lA and it's not see through vinyl. Where does that leave me then???
  8. The one I bought today Is there still no solid solution to what is what on this, or are we settling for different pressing plants??
  9. Just bought a copy of this on Demo. The stars are on the SNTD side. I have also checked 2 other WB US Demos that I have, Mystic moods - Astral trip (stars on Astral Trip - A side) and Apollas - Mr Creator (stars on Mr Creator - A side). On 45cat in the WB Discography, it shows 'SNTD' listed as the 'A' side and 'IMNBWYW' as the 'B'? Just thought I'd add my two penneth!
  10. Vestax vote again here. Had one for years and use it regularly as a testing deck. Good thing is you can get 4 batteries for it for £2 at any quid shop and they last weeks. Great for taking to record fairs/Car boots too.
  11. Just bought this for £8.50. Richteous Brothers band - Rat race On the Demo copy too
  12. Didn't say I didn't want them, I'd kill for a pair, just don't see much advantage over 1210s apart from looking cute. and if your DJ wanted to play an album track he'd be furrrrked!!!
  13. Look awesome, but apart from the obvious smaller size, I don't really see much advantage to the SL-1210s really, as the 1210s play both 12" and 7". and you can pick up a decent pair of 1210s for the same price.
  14. Cheers Pete, knowledgeable as usual
  15. Thanks Dave. Just bought the Canadian copy for £16, so quite happy.
  16. How to spot the difference between the boot and a proper 'Rotations - A changed man'? on 'Frantic' Thanks!
  17. Only ever seen a couple of the original presses of these and the last one was when John Vincent played it at the Central a few months ago. What would an original copy fetch?
  18. Thanks Pete, not bothered about selling it, just think it looks nice and different to what most people have it on ie UK WB or Veep. Thanks anyway Pete. I have a chance of getting one for £16, so the price is right then
  19. Has anyone seen one? NO replies after many hours.
  20. Hi Can anyone help me with the price of a 'Little Anthony & The Imperials - Better use your head' on Canadian Red with silver print 'United Artists' please? Thank you in anticipation.
