  1. Try as people might, this music will never remain underground as much as it was back in the day of the Torch, Wheel etc. because it's too good to stay underground. New people hear it and like it, buy it and dance to it, go out to hear it and like it more. y'know, like we once did and still do.
  2. In Fact!! The actual travesty of the Brits, was that 'Prince' only presented an award??? I thought we may have been treated to a surprise performance later on in the show?
  3. Wouldn't matter if she wore clown shoes and a parachute, she'd still look amazing :-)
  4. and JJ Barnes - Talk of the Grapevine - Great track it is too.
  5. I won't put it up here I'll be banned instantly
  6. All bets are off, it is!!
  7. I'd have a quick peek to make sure she wears it well
  8. Well she has done a version of 'Time will pass you by', so nothing is impossible, God forbid she re-releases it in line with the Northern uprising, it was shit!!!
  9. Yeah me too Alison, the best artist music wise for years, and I don't think it will damage the scene either, yesterday papers n all that. It'll all be forgotten in a week and the scene will carry on regardless.
  10. Yes I have just been informed that she was there on stage. In my opinion too, I think it was a good piece, good dancers, a bit over the top dress wise, but the track is excellent although a bit Marmite. Good show!!
  11. Just watched the Pharrell Williams performance on the 'Brits' with the Manchester Dolls Northern Soul Dancers on stage with him and Nile Rodgers. I wait with bated breath!
  12. Some amazing pictures of the 'Leeds Central' Alldayer in full swing.
  13. I like it!! As a new recording and release I think it's decent. No not Northern, but everything doesn't have to be, does it?
  14. Thank you Soulcool, I don't have to explain my Soul Heaven thanks to your post :-). I like to refer to the 'Leeds Central' as 'Heaven Underground' and your comments have made me a very proud man. Although I must say that first time I went to the 'Torch' it was blown away time, when the doors opened to go in and the heat, music and atmosphere combined to send a ball of pleasure big enough to knock you for six, Ah!! the memories!
