  1. I have just bought 2 copies of Top Shelf - No second thoughts. One is on 'Lo Lo' records, and one is on ''Calla' records. Just wondering why on 2 different labels or are they connected? and are any of them harder to get then the other? Thank you
  2. Joe valentine - I lost the only love I ever had. Great Soul/Jazz track with stupendous vocals.
  3. Yeah good idea, I'll look for something to stick on the flip and get one done
  4. Yes Pete, that would be great thank you. Are there any about do you know? I would love a copy if so.
  5. Hi Sharmo 1 According to the above link, these are the 'Mem-O-Ree' releases with release numbers beginning with '0'. The ones beginning with '5' are deemed to be bootlegs. 6. Can someone help please? Just come back from the Kellingley Charity Alldayer and one of the jocks played a track on 'Sidra' with exactly the same backing as Ronnie & Robyn - As long as you love me /Sidras theme, but with completely different vocals and title. It was a male vocal track. The label was a white Sidra. Anyone any idea please?

  8. It's gone down to £15 now
  9. On the same subject I have databased all of my Northern stuff with the prices that they are worth, and I update the prices as they are going up (or down). I have shown my wife where the database is and told her not to sell them for any less than the prices I have put when I pop it. Let's hope that for once she takes notice of what I've said.
  10. Yeah me too, there are 2 'Mem-O-Ree' labels, one a boot label and one an official re-release label. The Carolyn Crawford being on the boot label. Nice to have the Baby Washington on a different label to the norm.
  11. Hi Pete, just seen you reply, thank for that. I was also searching the net trying to find something out about the label, and I came across this. Interesting is the reply to the enquiry. What do you think? https://www.45cat.com/45_forum_topic_view.php?t=4595
  12. Worth watching it to see what happens
  13. Also i believe that the colours on the label are wishy washy on the boots as opposed to being solid on the orig.
  14. Thats what I meant Pete, wait until the first one has finished, wait a couple of days and then list the second.
  15. Just bought this btw. I don't know it's history whether it's a boot or not ( would imagine so), but it only cost $17 including p&p from the states. Any clues anyone? Thanks
  16. Yes bad tactics that, I would definitely have waited at least a couple of days before putting a second copy on. What you need to consider is there can be only 1 winner of an auction, and all those that bid but didn't win, still want one and have the money to bid on another copy.
  17. Anyone got any info on this version please?
  18. £1295 finish. Still a record (pardon the pun) for this?
  19. yes strange they all should pull out today when the auction finishes in a few hours, and I don't think you can retract a bid when it get to 12 hours to the end of the auction. I smell a rat.
  20. Yes when you retract a bid for say 'I entered the wrong amount', it says you can bid on the auction putting the correct amount you wish to bid.
  21. Edited my post Pete, have a look now.
  22. Yeah the only way that could happen is if someone has withdrawn a bid, But it doesn't just withdraw 1 bid, say someone has set their maximum bid to say £2000, and the he withdraws that bid, it withdraws every bid they have made to get to where the bidding was when they withdrew, so that takes the bid down quite a lot as in this case. I bet the seller is p***ed off tho'. Complicated I know, but that's how it works. Then maybe the same bidder that withdrew their bid has placed a smaller bid? Just looked again and these are the withdrawn bids Bid retraction and cancellation history Bidder Action Date of bid and retraction p***i( 112) Retracted: £1,550.00 Bid:30-Mar-15 21:41:54 BST Retracted: 04-Apr-15 20:33:22 BST 2***l( 739) Retracted: £1,020.00 Bid:28-Mar-15 19:27:02 GMT Retracted: 04-Apr-15 20:58:34 BST .***0( 16) Retracted: £1,600.00 Bid:31-Mar-15 19:36:42 BST Retracted: 04-Apr-15 18:38:55 BST Strange that, 3 different bidders retracting bids?? They may have been reading this thread, or apparently another one has gone on for £1200 so I have been made aware.
  23. At he the end of the day it's different strokes for different folks as with everything, there is always going to be likers and haters for everything. Coming on here saying something is crap, or something is brilliant is OK, providing you realise that that is your opinion, and there will be as many disagree with you, as agree with you.
