  13. Don't worry about it Chris/Sharon yours will still be the best soul night on the third Sat each month. Others may come and go but yours is a well established night with a good crowd in every time and a great atmosphere. Ps who wants sandwiches anyway!!

Actually, its been a lot better for us who dont smoke!, and the majority of soul people go for the music and to socialize, not the drink and fags!
  15. Not heard Turning Point played for years, would love to hear it played again.
  16. Used to look forward to Palais alldayers so much. First went, think it was Dec 1975, and don't think we ever missed one after that. Brilliant, really happy times.
  17. Not seen Februarys yet!! had similar problems round about this time last year, then got three months of mags all delivered together! Think we shant bother subscribing again.
  18. Not the case in the Derby/Notts area .Although JH did get a few plays a while back.
  19. Well said Pete. What about Dottie Cambridge Cry Your Eyes Out, and Jeanette Harper Pick Me Up and Put Me In Your Pocket. All big sounds in the seventies. Why dont these records get played anymore?
