I actually prefere this version.. i dj'd at a friends wedding, and they wanted stand by me as there first record I wanted to play this one but they wanted the version everyone knows... guess what I never had it.. someone had to lend it to me... can't even remember who its by now... (i'm unwell & can't think straight)..

Tim dances to make you laugh.. but I did see him dance once and it was fine.. till he noticed us looking then he went silly again..

Yep did get played twice first time was earlier on before Tim turned up. Remember as commented on it being played the first time.. so to hear it again it stood out

Nothing worse than when your up for it, having a full on dance then sweat starts going in your eyes...as it stings a bit.. not talking the likes of the people who have one dance then stand and chat, then 10 minutes later dance again. I'm talking when you have just danced to 4 or 5 stompers and your still going for it.. Then you need your towel.

Mark, I have no idea how much you would need, could you not put soul nights on to promote your radio station, all proceeds going to your station. I'm sure you know enough dj's that would dj for you for free, or you could always find keen lesser known dj's to help you out. a bit like a Solar radio northern soul roadshow as i say i don't know how much you would need but various venues around the country.. maybe have a word with established do's you could promote them on the radio and they could promote/support you.. if you get my drift.. I'm not always good at explaining things but i'm sure you can see where i'm heading with this.. Good Luck.. Mischief
