I was just flicking through Ebay and was just thinking to myself.. (keeping away from the rights and wrongs of bootlegging and buying boots for 5 minutes) Who actually buys these new boots to make it profitable? I have friends that buy them, but thats only one or two people, how many would you need to make and sell to make a profit, surley its only a limited market.. i personaly would have thought you would be pushed to sell 200 copies of a record.. Just out of intrest as anyone on here ever got a price for getting a 45 made 2 sides and 2 labels, whats the minimum run, how much profit is in it? I'm not talking buying 45's from dealers selling boots/reissues i mean the peson that has done the running around in the begining. Just wondering must be some thing in it as they keep poping up...

Trouble is you don't take your boot guide out (well i don't).. so when you go through a box at a do and theres something in ther that your after and its £20/£30 cheaper you think your getting a bargin live and learn... or maybe i'm the only idiot on here...

What if I could pick all 6 numbers on the lottery rather than just 1... what a spend up on vinyl, i think i'd do that defore buying a car and a new house straight on tinternet and get it out your system...

agree.. I know of warm up dj's to have played for there selfs with the attitude... well its only 8.00 there not gonna dance anyway... Play the right set and it builds the night.. If you get two dj's playing an hour each and they play for thier selfs then the 3rd dj becomes the warm and thats 3 hours lost of the night.. Warm up dj's play your best stuff.. get them dancing early let the dj's after you have the problem of keeping them up.. at least you can say.. I never had that problem.

I wish I had gone to Wigan just so I had an experiance of my own and not other peoples views of it.... And wish I hadn't been caught out buying a boot for the price of an original.. but I like to keep that quite..
