I have a fist with Northern Soul and it takes heart on me calf.. funny story.. when we was 17 (23 years ago) my whole scooter club decided to have FISC (First Impression Sccoter Club) done on the inside of our bottom lip.. any way my mate Jason went in first told the tattoist what he wanted FISC -- sat there and had it done, while we all stared in the window and door maybe 15 or so of us.. next a bloke called Mick went in and said yeh the same for me.. so he started while we all started looking at Jasons slightly swollen lip that read FIFC.. so shouted stop to the tattoist he then put FISC on mick's lip and the rest of us said sod that and run out laughing so only 2 of them had it done in thne end.. and one was wrong... best thing is my brother law worked with Jason 15 years later just by chance and I told him about the tattoo so he bought it up when everyone was down the pub one night.. My mate Jason went mad he had never shown any one the tattoo from the day he had it done...

I bought it last year to play out, and we was at Bisley one night at the begining of this year and it came on... there was 2 of us dancing to it.. (it was early doors) and I thought sod this me feet can't keep up.. so I traded it for a couple of other bits... great record and a fav of mine ..... me brain was in time, yet me feet let me down a bit..

Soulbaby... welcome to soul source ... best thing is to put a post up here when you are thinking of coming to the UK there are quite a few promoters and dj's on here so they will let you know but has Kenny said in the events page is a list.. but there are a lot more do's than that..

Steve G I think its outrageous that the "Soul Police" will comment on playing a boot - Reissue - whatever - but won't comment on one of Ian Levines tracks. which are legit issues may I add.... Spencer Wiggins great track.. at the end of the day...

No it just seems a shame, in this case.. Tony you will know this if any one does.. are there many records like this.. floating about.. you know unissued tracks that someone thought they had the rights to but a bit down the line it comes out that they never had them.. but they had tried to get them.. and they never just pressed it any way... Rhino, I 'm to young to have gone.. but I think it may not be that people haven't moved on, its just that for a lot of people it was there youth and when you think about it that was when you had more "fun".. maybe that is the reason why people talk about it so much.. I don't know... I have had a scooter and been to untold rallies in the last 11/12 years and had some real good times but when I look back to when I was 17-18 on my scooter - no money - no comitment - living at home... seems that the things i did then are the memories I look back on now.. maybe its we take what we do now for granted and will only apreciate it when we look back.. (bloody hell where Trevski.. hes the preacher not me.. i'm outta here better go to the pub) but hopefully you get me drift... bye
