  9. Hi Steve, hope these two posters help. Many other artists appeared after the posters were made (by Dave Tidswell I believe) I think Prestatyn was so different to all previous weekenders, the artists were part of the crowd with no restrictions. So many people to thank for this amazing event but the two main ones who came up with the idea - Mark Fletcher and John Poole. Hope this helps - Mick
  10. Like Andy, a year or so later I also went to see Gi Gi with a couple of mates. They forewarned me not to mention Andrea Henry. My mates were upstairs with Gi Gis / Hermans son looking at the recording studio installed in his bedroom. I was drinking coffee with Gi Gi when she said " Do you know Andrea Henry" I said I know of 'need you like a baby' (didn't dare tell her I was the proud owner of a beautiful demo) Gi Gi said " that lady couldn't string three words together" and went on to say she had the original cut she had made. We searched her double garage in vain. Gi Gi went on to say she had seen Andrea a few years back on TV as she was involved with a dodgy police officer and they had been arrested. Mick

Including John Poole, Steve Frost, Rich Broughton, Mick H, Rob Smith, Glyn Sisson, Nev Shooter, Steve Phillis, Alex Gallagher and myself. Some guests have also been booked. Not wishing to hijack this thread with an events advert but it’s well worth knowing.
  21. Many years ago our website designer used a picture he had found on the internet and added it to our website. Within days I had a demand for payment from Getty Images claiming they owned the rights to the picture. I had it removed and never heard another word. Obviously I didn't pay.
