  1. Hi Andy, hope you can make it, there's two stations at Burnley, I think you come off at the first one (but you'd better check), the Kestral suite is not far from the station, come out the station, keep left, walk down the hill then turn 1st left and it should be in front of you, about a 5 min walk for a young'un like you . Willie
  2. Be great to cya Toby .
  3. Just off to The Wilton tonight and it's still strange not to see the smiley face of Jerry Brown.... gone but not forgotten, rest in peace my friend. Willie
  4. Ang, you'll have to visit the batcave to find out , where this lickle Willie will have all his 12"s on show .
  5. A Merry Christmas and a Soultastic New Year to you both, see you out and about soon . Willie
  6. Sooooooooooo excited, can't wait to get behind dem decks .
  7. Can't wait, Sean/Karl it's an honour to do a Lp set at the bat cave and be sharing the decks with such a fantastic lineup of dj's............... awesome. Will be starting the night off with a selection of Lp only, cover versions and underplayed tunes. I'll be there with bitten down nails and a large bag of pampers lol. Willie
  8. I'm gutted that this has happened, Bishops Wood will be a big loss to the niter scene, a cracking little venue with a great atmosphere where you heard diverse quality sets from dj's who mixed the well known, rare, underplayed to a friendly up for it crowd, I wouldn't miss one if I could help it, even if it was a five hour round trip. It's a shame that people ignored the old maxim "use it before you lose it". Thank you to Larry/Elaine, Col/Gaye for some great nights. Willie
  9. What a great post Paul, honest and from the heart, as Mr Porter said 'keep on keeping on'. Willie
  10. Pm'd you Johnny's mobile number Pete.
  11. Pm'd you Pete, only known Johnny for a couple of year's but what a great guy he is, he has helped me out a few times, a true gent and a soul Samaritan. Willie
  12. Another top tune on this album is 'tell me your name', think it only came out on lp only, I'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong . Here you go Matty, check my last played tune.
  13. Sorry, So the sleave must be wrong then
  14. Sorry mate, cant help you with the TM issue number (album collector only), but on the back of the lp sleave is written...."this album includes two track's never previously unissued on an album - 'baby hit and run'.. and their version of the Temptations 1965 hit 'it's growing' .. these cut's were issued in Britain as a Tamla Motown single early in 1974" (condensed). Maybe someone else on here could help.
  15. Ooop's, done it twice
  16. This group stopped recording in 1967, and 'baby hit and run' as well as their Temp's version of 'it's growing' were only issued in the UK on 45 on the Tamla Motown label in 1974. Both are on the mfp lp.
