  1. Thanks Ian , 99.9% of them worked for me , the only one that didn't hit the mark was Merle Spears and I think the Ikettes was a bit too fast x

  4. Mine is an Atlantic demo I got it from a guy called Dave in Sudbury Essex , had it for around 15 years always thought it underplayed and a great tune , it suited the wheel down to the ground. Its got Drive on the other side.
  5. I just played this at wheel today , it went down really well x Carms
  6. A big thanks to Pete , my record came yesterday so I will be able to play it today in the Twisted Wheel second room Actually Sean showed me his copy last night and played it to a well appreciative crowd last night , went down really well it was lovely to see some of the younger elements in the crowd really get down to it. Carms x
  7. How much would it be worth if it didn't have the NOC biro on label ? as a matter of interest , I was offered one by PM ..... I could be showing some ignorance here but I thought what was asked for was way too high for a reggae record or am I just out of touch
  8. This is the one I wanted , and Pete has very kindly sent me his copy , much better than the above one in my view ... this could be the next 54 46 ... it really got under my skin...
  9. I agree Robert I was talking to someone I know that went to Brazenose street he also said he spent a lot of time at the mojo in Sheffield.
  10. Yes please I found a great site called and the beat goes on which many from Brazenose street days have commented in . What intrigues me was that the music appeared to be vastly different to Whitworth street > I wonder if that caused any fallings out because to my ear the music policy had split / changed with the move ... or was it like that at Whitworth street and then evolved into the more staxy Atlantic type sounds? I have it from good authority Brazenose street leaned to more blue beats /Rythem and Blues
  11. Thanks for info guys I couldn't' find one ? Found 2 but need this record for the weekend , the two I have found will not get to me for saturday the french island picture sleeve one looks nice Just listened to dog war on island and that is much slower ... Broadway is much better in my view
  12. Anyone got one for sale ? thanks Carms x
