Rob will never be able to find any records if its all nice and neat he knows where all the records are now after the refit god help him. the fun of going to Robs is the taking ones life in hand to hunt for the great hidden gems. anyway hope all goes well for Rob cant wait to have a look round after the refit you never know might find a few gems

seems the anti static foam cleaner has come up trupms, its still not perfect but is certainly now playable with only a small crackle

gave it 4 doses and am well pleased. now got a bargain rather than a turkey

im pleased it worked and it makes the record look pretty good 2

pics not come thru but it sounds like the stuff i use Anti-static Foaming Cleaner if it is shake can well spray on vinyl gently rub foam into the grooves with your finger then wipe with soft tissue then wipe with a normal record cleaning cloth play the record on your deck a few times and watch the crap come out the grooves if the record is really bad repeat again hope this helps

Hi Ian, afraid it isn't! Although the track you've indicated by Mystic Merlin was one of the songs that made me become a musician! Weird coincidence that you mention it here? (I'm a saxophonist, and the playing on this track is still phenomenal in terms of intensity and feel, love it!). That said, this track has got the same vibe, just a touch quicker than the one I'm looking for.... I might look into Mystic Merlin to see if they've done anything else that might have slipped through the net....

How do you fix a skip ??

some skips can be removed by a little bit of extra wieght on the head shell i sometimes put a 10p piece on head shell and let it play thru the bit that skips a few times fixed a few this way
