  1. The Yum Yums ABC Demo lookalike from 1975 has gone for low three-figures over the past few years.
  2. Hi Phil, I'd guess (though I'm open to correction): Christine Cooper WDJ - £350 Jimmy Armstrong - £500 Jerry Naylor - £200 Martha Starr - £100 Gene
  3. Has anyone ever seen the following on stock copy? I've not.................yet! NEPTUNES: Girl That's An Awful Thing To Say (Gem) JOHNNY MAESTRO: I'm Stepping Out Of The Picture (Scepter) JOEL CHRISTIE: Since I Found You (Imperial) CLYDIE KING: My Love Grows Deeper (Imperial) JO AN COURCEY: I Got The Power (Twirl) INVITATIONS: Watch Out Little Girl (MGM)
  4. Beverly McKay: baby you're so right - Old Town wd 25 An excellent sound at a true bargain price!
  5. Here are a few nice rare demos from my personal collection. Whilst not particularly rare on issue, how often do you see these demos?
  6. I made sure not to start the thread until well after the auction had closed. On the same note Jules, believe me I'd feel really awful if he acted as a result of this thread, and would only really have myself to blame.
  7. The seller would have been contacted personally, and displayed the question on his ad by choice. I've 'named and shamed' people who ask me silly questions about sale items - they don't come back!
  8. Now here's a nice US London oddball release.. Does the label remind you of a certain British label? This was released on UK Oriole in 1962. Funny how the US release replicates the label, but also gives Jackie Lee her own personalised indie!
  9. So - who was the lucky person who won this? Can't believe the seller didn't know this! https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A:IT&ih=001
  10. Where Can My Baby Be by The Martells.........remember when Keb Darge and Ian Clark used this as their opener on their spots. Goosebumps or what!
  11. Can't believe record companies can be so anal about demos. What next? BPI organised dawn raids on boot fairs, charity shops and record fairs/dealers?
  12. Go for it matey..............!
  13. No real connection between the three tracks, other than they all use the same backing tracks. Liza Mae's "I've Got A Juicy Mouth Baby" is the B-side of "The Watergate Jazz". Judging by the A-side title, I would date the Concept 45s at between 1972 - 1974 (to tie up with the Watergate Scandal), giving a difference of 6 to 8 years between Cody Michaels and the Concept outings. There is also a FOURTH single with the same backing track: "Up Until The Night Time Comes" by Liza Mae, also on Concept.
  14. Definitely Katie (Jordan) and Peter Andre - they're more likely to be up for a bit of wife-swapping!
  15. Does the Hour Glass release of Hang Loose have the same B-side as Spectrum?

Don't the bootlegs have "Cool Off" on the flip side?

  22. She looks like she's just got out of bed and sat on the lav! Probably too many peanuts and too much duck!

  24. Hi Pete, Wouldn't have thought it would have spoilt the look in this case; surely a stickered demo would have a sticker on the A-side "As Long As There Is You", rather than the B-side?
