I'd so love to know what planet this guy lives on! He is so deluded! It's eiher a Turkish or Iranian EP (no wonder it's not in the Record Collector Price Guide). It's nowhere near as rare as even £4,000 - there are loads of EPs like this around. I had a similar one on the same label in multi-coloured vinyl which had "Call My Name" by James Royal on it. Shame I gave it away - could have let someone have a bargain at £5,000!

POSTAGE COSTS WITHIN THE UK: £2 (recorded delivery). POSTAGE COSTS OUTSIDE THE UK: £6 (registered post). I accept PayPal (no fees), cheque or PO (made payable to G. ROBERTSON). Please PM me to reserve any item. All items held for 3 days only. NOTE: If you have reserved a record, and I have not heard from you after 3 days, the record will immediately go back on the sales list and will no longer be held for you. And yes........I do take offers, as long as they're not insultingly stupid! The Ultimate Anoraks Question? Brown Sleeves Vs. White Sleeves
Gene-r replied to Benji's topic in Look At Your Box
The brown paper sleeves were used for all Decca-distributed labels between 1954 - c1964 which didn't have their own company design sleeves. This includes Vogue, Coral, Vogue-Coral, Vogue-Pop, Vocalion, Durium, Felsted, etc. I'm quite sure the white paper sleeves with the 'wavy top' came into use around 1965. I'm not sure if the independent labels of the time also used these sleeves, or whether they used white paper ones. I'm sure I've seen unplayed Melodisc 45s in brown sleeves as well.
