  1. Cheers Tony - that must be what I've confused it with.
  2. Must admit I was shocked at what it went for this time round, because mine cost me a fiver 30 years ago!
  3. I remember those - they were pressed in 1990, and were the first pressings to be done at the correct speed, and in excellent quality. I think there was a small batch of unissued Motown tracks pressed at the same time by the same person - just plain white labels, weren't they? Done around the same time the Chris Clark version of "Do I Love You" was pressed.
  4. The 'helium' comment referred to the speed the bootleg was pressed at - not the track itself............
  5. Nothing at all wrong with it!
  6. Also given a UK release on Route in 1975, and sells for around £10. I think it was also booted on the "Finally" label - am I right?
  7. The Advance pressings were, in my opinion, the worst ones for sound quality - they may have been the first boots of this, but they were way too fast by a mile. Personally, I wouldn't give more than £5 for it, though some people who love Motown on helium gas may pay much more.
  8. Good one!
  9. And for those of you venturing out into pressing your own bootlegs, be sure your typesetter is at least literate!
  10. The inferior orange label boots of Exus Trek (not the legal reissues) gives the vocal side title as "It's All The Same To You Babe", missing off the "If", and is credited to the Luther INGRAMS Orchestra.
  11. Was there more than one pressing of Lenny Curtis, Pete? Here are pics of an orig and a boot, and I can't see any difference on 'Lenny'.
  12. Great track - I always think of the first time I heard it on the radio as a 7-year old in 1971.
  13. My sentiments entirely...............
  14. They are if you're at least a label completist......even "No Charge" by J. J. Barrie", sorry to say. And the "Who's Gonna Love Me" LP by the Imperials is worth picking up - can be found in many a bargain bin at a cheap price.
  15. Just as an aside, Sally Sago (or Sagoe) was an actress who played Hannah Carpenter in East Enders from 1985 - 1987!
  16. Wouldn't give 10p for this even if I had the money......
  17. I didn't think any of the Power Exchange 45s were particularly rare, or of any major interest.
  18. That Dane Hunter single on Oriole is bloody good, considering it's only 18 years old!
  19. Don't know, but I do remember that "Lonely For You Baby" by Sam Dees was covered up as "I'm So Lonely" by Dan Brantley - a record that actually exists, and must have had quite a few people buying it hoping to get the Sam Dees track!
  20. It's an excellent B-side which has never gained the recognition it really deserves, probably due to the cliche-type title. Should always have been played out more.
  21. Thought they were all demos with the same track on both sides - am I wrong?
  22. Funny, but an excellent idea Manus!
