  1. Pete, in my family it's more of a challenge trying to find the one who doesn't (me?)! Although I will say that my sister's husband is a very influential character with a huge following. If someone has got or done something, you can always bet that he's got a 'mate' who's done it better! PS - sorry for off-topic post!
  2. Thought the Soultown release had an extra verse - am I wrong?
  3. Exactly my first thoughts John, though try as I did, I couldn't think of a sensible word combination that would have resulted in a ban! On the other hand, I heard a funny story (supposedely true) a good few years back about someone whose positive feedback was rejected by Ebay, for use of the words "who really" (used in a complimentary sense). Apparently, he wasn't supposed to use the word "whore" (whore ally / who really?? Oh yes - got it now!)!!
  4. Hi John, Yep - definitely a UK release. Wouldn't have thought that would have been a factor, truthfully. I've currently got 8 other records on auction, 7 of which are UK releases and detailed accordingly, and this was the only one I got an alert about. I've just been reading the community forum board for Ebay, and some people are suggesting that it could actually be a software glitch.
  5. ASS no questions, tell no lies!
  6. I had one this afternoon John. Strangely enough, it didn't appear in my Ebay message box, so wonder if it's actually genuine? And my account wasn't refunded, as the email implied it would be. For a laugh, the listing in question was this, and I can't think how the hell it contravenes International site policy! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221297528854?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649
  7. Ebay's policy on selling bootlegs is strict? My.....
  8. Totally agree Dean - a record that never got the recognition or exposure it deserves. Nothing like any of their other Chariot sides either. Another record introduced to me by Nick Brown all those years ago.
  9. Soothe me / I cant stand up for falling down - stax 169011 This French issue has the live version of Soothe Me.
  10. He sure did Ted - remember when he had the only copy of the Executive Four on Lumar - think he wanted £180 for it around 1985.
  11. Thanks mate!
  12. Thanks mate - may take you up on that! Let me know what you want for the DVD.
  13. I do love these types of compilations - I think it's the randomness of the tracks more than anything.
  14. Yes - if you take it off before "If Jesus Came To Your House" at the end of Side 2! I'm pretty sure I bought your copy of that Pete - would that sound right?
  15. Probably about right for a minter I think?
  16. Bought my copy from Ray Evans of Angelesy in 1986 for £25. Sold it for ten times that amount as many years later!
  17. Beware Records issued a compilation in the early '90s called "It's Finking Time". Nothing in the way of soul interest on the LP, other than "The Peanut Duck", which I was surprised to see on there: https://www.discogs.com/Various-Its-Finking-Time-60s-Punk-Vs-Dancing-Junk/release/2764811
  18. You are spot on Godzilla - if you listen closely, you can hear the part where the two bits of tape have been joined (just after the 2, 3 count-in and before the two drum strikes).
  19. Probably would have if more people knew about it in the 70s!
  20. Have to agree - the only green ones I've known are all original. Not heard of green boots of this ever.
  21. Hi Kev, Thanks - that would be great if you can find it! Prince Charles = Charles Scott?
  22. Whilst searching for more information on Charles E. Scott and the Attack label, I came across this website. The link is here for those who haven't seen it yet. Worth it just for the pic of Little Tommy and The Teenagers alone! https://www.styleweekly.com/richmond/souled-out/Content?oid=1486399
