"...everyone on here is a distant type of mate and you would do things for mates before you did something for someone you didnt know at all if you know what Im getting at..." What - no takers on anything yet??? Fine lot of mates you all turned out to be! (have more bloody "mates" in a packet of condoms at this rate!)
  14. Frankie Cherval "How Come/Tag Along" was released in the UK on MGM (MGM 1183) in 1962, so I assume the US copy is on MGM or Cub as well.

"Alone With No Love" by the Contemplations (only for its instrumental B-side). Took over 20 years, from September 1983 until I got one in January 2004! Gene

Whatever happens to turn up for sale first....
  18. I have absolutely no interest in how Borough Councillors get rid of their waste!
  19. You should have played the other side, "Which One Should I Choose" - mediocre up-tempo dancer, but I like it!! I think this is the side it's sold for in the past. Also looks great on a yellow UK London demo!
  20. Well, let's face it - folks in America have their soul singers, and we in Britain have a***sole singers!
  21. You started collecting reggae then Ady? Or is is just something I've never known about you?
  22. Cheers Paul!

Janine, May be able to help you out there. Will keep you posted. Gene xxxxxx
  24. Anyone know of a value for the UK issue on Sonet? Reason I ask is I just got a Mint one really cheaply, and anyway, I like Johnny Otis (partlcularly his stuff on Capitol) so I'm holding on to it!
  25. Would "How Can I Forget" have been banned from airplay at its time, due to Joey Dee's heavy breathing in the second verse? Note that it was also left in for the instrumental side - sounds bloody ridiculous!
