  1. It's the B-side of Incense, but called "You're Fooling Me". Was first released on a tiny Island subsidiary, Brit, and Fontana in 1965, and re-issued by Island in 1969 (about the same time they reissued "Harlem Shuffle", and the infamous "This Is Sue" sampler/compilation).

  10. Obviously must have a sense of humour - who else would call themselves "Teresa Green"!! Anyway, my postal charges for a 7" 45 recorded delivery is £1.90 - quite simply made up of £1.30 for Recorded Delivery (1st class of course), and a 7" mailer plus 2 stiffeners from Covers 33 - at a cost of 60p each. Even at £1.90, I make NOTHING from P&P costs.
  11. And where exactly in Belgium is the seller based Pete?
  12. I only charge actual postage costs, plus the cost of a mailer. I don't believe in charging labour just for postage.
  13. Yep - make you right netspeaky, and well done! The big items have gone now. The unfortunate news is that inna and dick.baker still continue to "trade" on Ebay. There is still that copy of the Tangeers on dick.baker's sales list that has been lifted from JM's current auction page.
  14. Can't these guys be reported for what's known as "fee avoidance"? Postal rip-offs have always been the bane of most Ebayers lives. I always state my P&P costs loud and clear on my items. Only one person (our friend studioonemaster) has completely defied them, but he has been dealt with by having his bid cancelled, and banned from future auctions. Further action will follow, but I'm keping that under my hat for the moment (and I don't mean violence or extortion!). Additionally, I am reluctant to bid on an auction that does not explicitly state P&P costs. If it's a really nice item, then I will mail the seller before the auction closes and ask them for a quote.
  15. Are you sure? They were still there a few minutes ago, and the Groovettes is still destined for the Guinness Book of Records....
  16. Notice now that, for some reason, both Inna and dick.baker have elected to keep their feedback private. How cowardly is that?
  17. Now there's a thought Pete........sounds like a bloody good idea!
  18. I'd also encourage the winning bidders of auctions to leave immediate negative feedback on winning the auction, to expose these two rip-off merchants.
  19. Looks like your original order was misdirected, in the execution of their duties (or in the duty of their execution)!
  20. I stand to be corrected, but I think all Peak copies have Saint Mo written in pen on them. I have never seen a clean one.
  21. The other girl was Michelle, also known as Mini (an old friend of Trifle's). She was a regular at the North London and Essex soul clubs during the early to mid-80s. Wonder what she's doing now? Lilke Trifle, Michelle was great to get on with, and a really friendly person. Would be great if anyone knows her to pass my regards on.
  22. Well John Manship has the right idea by "watermarking" the scans on his website, so that they can't be used elsewhere without giving the source away.
  23. Uh-oh! Another one here, methinks: https://cgi.ebay.com/6-KIIIIIIIIILLER-SINGL...1QQcmdZViewItem
  24. Oops......make you right Kev! As a point of trivia, Stephen James was first featured on a chart record as early as 1956. He was in the kids chorus of his father Dick's version of Robin Hood!
  25. Never mind that - has anyone reported the low-life yet?
