The artist is John M. Edwards, on a tiny label called Chessman, never saw the label before. I think it's out of New York, but I'm not 100% sure.

Here's a scan of 4575, I sold my copy a long time ago, and I don't think many people knew it then (probably few still do). I may have the tunes on an old cassette mix, but I did not know how to record onto my computer then, unfortunately. Anybody else seen green labels on Virtue 45s? I'm pretty sure this is the only one I ever had.

Having read what boba & Jim said about him not remembering his early stuff, it will probably be no use even if I can get hold of Frank, but I'll try to see about it just in case.....

I know a guy who went to high school with Frank, it's a long shot but I'll see if he's somehow able to get in touch with the man!

I'd say this 45 is pretty rare. I found a pretty worn copy about five years ago, have not seen one since (my copy was sold, but for a lot less than this one on ebay). There's a funk 45 on the same label that's better known (Soul Excitement)......anybody know of other releases on the label?
