OK, I mixed this label up with the D.W. label, which was out of Newark.....so still not sure where D&W was from, sorry.

I have something on this label but need to dig it out, something tells me it may be from Virginia but I'm not sure until I find the 45 (and even then I probably won't be sure)!

I believe the green & yellow issue copies are quite scarce (not that the demos are common!), coincidentally I just used my old copy for my avatar the other day. I love how there's the Liberty Bell on the label too!

I sold a VG copy of this for around $70, but that was 3-4 years ago, I don't think many people knew it then......several people have asked to find one since then but I have not seen another copy.

Good point Ady, no there were not any weird/boot 45s amongst the stuff that I am aware of so maybe it's legit.....I'm not totally convinced yet, but it sounds like a strong case. If a few other people could say they'd found a copy in a similar manner to myself it would be good to know, surely there's a few more copies around (but probably more in the UK then left here in the States)! I await the expertise of others on this board..... Steve - I will try and get a clip up in a short while. EDIT: looks like a clip is already on the site.....

Well, I found my copy (on Commonwealth) here in the States about five years ago in a typical place amongst tons of other 45s. That alone does not make it genuine, but does suggest it might be, I would think.

Might I add that the flip of "Confusion" ("Beautiful World") is very nice as well!

I think I might have this on Commonwealth, think it's a greenish/blue label, I remember liking it okay but not necessarily thinking of it as a soul record. Never seen another copy besides mine, and only now realizing there is some soul appeal on the one side! I would be interested to know if there's a first/second press situation, as an old topic on here says that it also came out on another label (Blue Dolphin)?
