  1. James Dee, fantastic record, and starting to get noticed Kev
  2. Ditto that Manus, first time for me, great voice, plenty of big names in there, Wally Roker, Jerry Williams and Big Dee Irwin Kev
  3. The flip "True love is hard to find" is an incredible piece of soul music, absolute bargain, this will soar soon Kev

  6. With reference to the Hesitations "Soul Superman" set, a great LP packed with great tunes, but don,t ignore the "Born Free" LP,this is also rammed with great tunes, great ballads for the soul room at home and some great movers for the dancefloor, check out "We Can Do It" great mover with as you would expect fantastic vocal performance from the guys Kev
  7. The side for me aswell Steve Kev
  8. Yes, remember one friday night at Prestatyn, in one of the small side rooms, myself, Gaz Simon and Kev Johnson sat in the leather seats that were supplied and listened and raved to one of Steve,s album sets, still talk about that night today. Kev

  12. Hi Paul Yes, the Wee Gee on Cat "Give a helping hand" regular play in my house, other side aswell Paul "Come to me" fantastic mover. I can,t find the album with "Hold on to your dreams" so I will have to get another one. Dells always brought into the debate when vocal groups are the subject of debate, guess you could say many people see them as the yardstick to compare with. Best Regards Kev
  13. Agree with the input so far, this could go on for a while, Boba, Steve, Paul etc have touched on the volume of quality stuff they put out.A couple worthy of a mention IMHO are "Don,t make me no promises" included in the great "Dells v Dramatics" set (also on a 7) and from the same album as "And I Panicked" "You Got Me Going Through A Thing" no matter what the tempo, these guys could handle anything, Brilliant !! Kev
  14. Wow! Boba, every show is a winner but this one, the best yet, I can think of at least a dozen lads who go on here (myself included) who will be sending Kim a marriage proposal, there goes one soulful lady. Great Stuff Kev
  15. Flip to "Come On Back" Boba, agreed, fantastic lyrics, fantastic record Kev
  16. From the "Totally Involved" set by Jimmy Lewis "It Aint Whats On A Woman" brilliant lyrics and oh that delvery from one of the greats of our beloved music, in fact just play the whole set from start to finish, a masterpiece, cue Adam G from the "Boro" Kev
