At work on nightshift, I can,t believe I have seen this, known Gary over 25 years, smashing fella, saw him a few months ago and he seemed fine, I am absolutely gutted by this news, God bless you Gary, R.I.P
Kev
Have't got that one Jock, but will seek it out, will do for me mate if you recommend it, will play that track and totally ignore the rest of the set
Kev
Another great track by them on the other album titled VOEH (has Cashing in on it) track called "Giving Love" absolutely brilliant, I think Steve mentioned earlier about the quality on their albums
Kev
Yes Roger, both tracks you picked out are as good as anything they put out on 45, its the album ignorance thing isn't it, people buy an album for 1 track maybe and ignore the rest, then get found out when someone plays something else brilliant from it
Kev
No Mike, always said about this record, if anyone wants to know what the Muscle Shoals sound is like at its absolute best, then this is it, the rythm section working overtime and the horns, dear me, ben Cauleys bugle solo and Womack at his scorching best, stirs the blood just talking about it Mike
Kev

On the same page as The United Sounds is an absolute belter Brett, Unique=Here We Go Again-Col-La-Soul has about 7 hours to go, cannot recommend this enough for anybody who does't know it and has a few quid spare
Kev
They,ve gone Richard, I took Pats and I checked Manships today cos I was gonna PM Stevie with same info, bought it for flip "I don't wanna cry" incredible IMHO
Kev
Can you imagine some sad b-----d saying for example, "He,s playing Garland Green "Aint that good enough" from the album and not the 45, so I ain't dancing" makes no odds, like Steve says, as long as its OVO get it on, see your point though, theres plenty out there who don't get it and are obsessed with the 45
