  1. 7 Nombres is a fantastic record, but, £250 in that condition ? (play the clip) sounds the same condition as mine but I only paid £80, be very surprised if he shifts it at that price Kev
  2. Only one thing for it then Steve, check the event planner and choose a date that hopefully won,t clash with anywhere and go for it, its the only way you will find out, if you get a few in and the owner is happy with the bar takings, then you,ve cracked it, if it falls flat, well, at least you tried Kev
  3. Came out twice Trev, Dore 842 has IOHFALW as flip Kev
  4. No joke Robb, I read somewhere that Brenton Wood owned the label, thanks for info though, its a great record though
  5. Brenton Wood-I want love, on his own Brent label, superb aswell Kev
  6. Temps have done loads, here's one of my fave's, from the "Gettin Ready" set Kev
  7. Flip it over Tiberius (Just one time) and post it on the Lowrider thread Kev
  8. The most annoying thing is when you look at it and the circumstances, it was planned and they knew exactly what they were doing and the effect it would have on Gary, that to me makes it 10 times worse Kev
  9. 3 Absolute belters Peter, the REAL stuff mate Kev
  10. These two records kill me every time without fail Chris Kev
  11. Couldn't find shipping option, clicked on paypal option, just kept asking me to choose shipping method Kev
  12. My mate Pete (pjf) put me on to this slow burner Kev
  13. Sending one out for Mike tomorrow Gaz, will send you a copy, I have your add somewhere but please PM me it again Kev
  14. If you going to post stuff like this I hope you never recover from feeling downtempo, know and have the Keith Barrow, Tommie and Jackie new to me, especially liked Tommie, written by Phillip Mitchell I noticed Kev
  15. 7 Nombres much sought after on the other side of the pond aswell, worth every penny Kev
  16. Yes Mike, I think a lot of people own the British one not realising there are three (at least) incredible different tracks from (my preferred) the US issue, owning both is essential IMHO Kev
  17. The Dells Chris, CH is marvellous, but when you go heads up against Johnny Carter and Marvin Junior, the next track on the Mighty Mighty Dells is also of the highest order, arguably my favourite tracks alongside each other on any album, "That special someone" Awesome Kev
  18. No surprises Mike, Jerry played a blinder by swapping the "Him" for "Her", genius Kev
  19. Perfection, it chugs along, and oh that bass line Kev
  20. Great show, really enjoyed it, BTW, Royalettes for me just though Kev
  21. Dug a couple more out, that's the good thing about this thread, gets you up off your arse to have a dig through the record room, inspired by Chris's post of Joe Odum, another great version, Joe just tips it for me, though, they are both fantastic You sell records to finance the purchase of others, sometimes regrettably, this however, will never be weighed in Kev
  22. Dug a couple of albums out, selected these 2 Think they both had 45 releases, people associate the Trammps and JB too much with the Disco thingy, but do some digging and they were as soulful as anyone or any group, certainly Jimmy Ellis, on lead with the Trammps is a fantastic singer in his own right, JB ? well, truly awesome Kev
  23. Three lovely Femme sounds Gary, I am mainly male vocal orientated but these all hit the spot Kev
  24. Likewise Mr Russell Kev
