  1. Plenty I don't know there Pete, but I know they will be good, many thanks for your support the previous day and night, Steve and Brian got a good thing going down there, we will be descending on it soon Kev
  2. Some people just want it all for themselves, you are in a good place over there, loads of good collectors who I am sure will admire the fact you are collecting at such a young age, Sigs, Robert Galan, Arlene Soulera 5150, Angel Garcia, George Miller Jay and Greg Belson are all down your way and I am sure they would pass on their knowledge to you, in the North, Vic Vasquez, Sleeps, Duke, Cameron Thompson, Deleon brothers etc are all good guys who like sharing the heat. Good on you, keep digging for them gems and ask any of the guys I have mentioned if you need to know anything. Kev
  3. Superb Nicola, Individuals, William Bell and Barbara Acklin just awesome xx

  8. Many thanks for agreeing to help us out at such short notice, my sentiments also to Jakob for a speedy recovery, to hear Double O Domingoes played out at a venue was priceless Steve, Donald Lee Richardson was another beauty as was Love Experience prior to Double O, and on and on, exactly the kind of stuff we were wanting, got lots of good feedback for Steve and Chris but I knew all about them beforehand so no surprises for me there, both of these genuine guys welcome back anytime Kev
  9. Say no more Steve, all I can say is, time for another CD swap Kev
  10. Wow Brian, what must Dyson Faces have sounded like played out loud

  12. Awesome collection of Sweet Soul gems Chris, every one a gem, but if I had to pick out any of them as standouts from a standout set it would be a long time fave of mine Devastations-What makes me feel this way, so bloody good and so rare, when you have a chance to be in a room when its played out its an unbelievable experience, also the incredible Mel Production Band-Tears from the rain, awesome and really tough to find. Great to hear all of this played out amongst like minded Soul fans. Fantastic Chris, great to have you and Andy Etheridge up in the North East. Kev
  13. Hi Mike, many thanks for the kind words, the only way I would get involved in an event was to do this, instead of CD swaps and confining your Soul sessions to your record room because you can't dance to the Soul music you love, it's time it became the Main Event and played out instead of a couple of hours here and there in a backroom on an afternoon at a Weekender. Kev
  14. 17. Simply awesome sets, hearing H. Andrews-One more chance out loud must have been something else, did you play the full 10mins ? Kev
  18. Awesome want Kev
  19. Curtis Mayfield is in Dirty Harry, the nut who is doing all the killing is being followed by Clint, so he goes to some derelict building and pays Curtis Mayfield to fill him in therefore making it look like police harassment and brutality on Clints part, hilarious bit is where the freak calls Curtis a black mutha f-----, so Curtis gives him another good hiding and says "this ones on the house" Kev
  20. It is an awesome record Mike, Sam Dees penned, Philly production, great lyrics as you would expect, brilliantly delivered Kev
