Hi All, I have a major Holland-Dozier-Holland project coming up in late May/early June for which I'm preparing some marketing info. Full details will be released in the next week or so and it will be major news for anyone interested in the history of these guys. I've compiled a list of all the major well known Brian Holland, Eddie Holland and Lamont Dozier tunes, both as a team and as individuals. It's an impressive list but I just wanted to make sure that I haven't missed anything of interest out. I'm not looking for obscure tracks or b sides or album tracks but rather tracks that people on the scene can identify with or are relatively well-known. It's possible that there could be some H-D-H titles from when the various tapes and acetates were filtering out in the 80s, so if there's anything like that which should be added to the list, then please feel free to add. There's a place in the Bronx that I never got into despite going on three separate occasions. Incredibly frustrating 'cos I could look in and see it was packed with 45s. A cellar location but in a VERY dodgy area and the guy is very hit and miss in terms of when he's meant to be there. Plus competing gangs on both sides of the street and a healthy crack trade. But essentially no worse than Sheffield on a bad night. I'll try and dig out the location if you're up for it.... Ian D

Personally I think they're crazy 'cos that Philadelphia International 40th Anniversary Box Set should be £50 minimum. I think it's 'cos we're running down the stock as PIR is now controlled by Sony and we're probably into what they call the 'sell-off' period. So, yep. The bargain of the century without a doubt. It's by far the most successful of all the Harmless Box Sets with incredible sales over the last 3 years. Anyone getting this for £20 can't lose! Happy New Year Soul Sourcers! And a special Happy New Year to Mike and the Moderators (sounds like a record on UK Oriole), without whom such instant bargains would be much more difficult to find!
