  1. I remember Willie from Tod had two copies of the Detriot press for sale at Bank Hall Miners, I did not think they were real at the time. So it sort of ties in with the Stafford era.
  2. I never had the co. sleeve, when I had it. Had all my records back than in white cardboard sleeves. I did keep all the sleeves, I don't know way, but I'm glad a did. I was talking to John Duckworth from Heywood at a do late80s/early90s? Told him I had loads, so he came around to my house at bought them.
  3. I'm not 100% but if I remember right it's the west coast copy that's got the rossette on the label. Funny thing is that I sold it New Years Day 1980, 30 years ago.

  7. Like others have said M Bell version is good. Also done by J & B Purify on Bell again a good version. When Wigan started playing Jimmy James, we played the James & Bobby's version. Global in Manchester was selling it for about 85p at the time.
  8. C Houston was played at Accy Legion in the summer of 74 along with lots of other non-stompers. The classic being J Tex "All The Heaven a man really needs" I went with Rick Foster and Chris Shepphard to Pitches and one of the DJs played it. Anyway I said to him that was good to hear not heard it out since74, with the look he give me shows it didn't beleave me. Others played at the time Intriges "I'm Gonna Love You" D Martin "Sly Girl" B Relf "Girl You're my kind of Wonderful" T Lindsey "Daddyo" C Kelly "City of Fools" Imperial Wonders "You Only Live Once" I swapped one of these to Rod (modernsoulsucks) for Perigents "Love on a Rampage" at the time. Troy Keys " If a had my way" Big Maybelle "I can't wait any longer" Sisters Love "Piece of my Heart" plus lots and lots more. Dave.
