  1. I can't believe I didn't notice that Richard's copy was a issue. What a dopey c**t I was back than, the amount of times me and Ian Gillabrand was with him when he was DJing at the back end of Wigan. So Pete's copy was not the 1st I've seen, it just seams that way. Dave.
  2. Pete Mason (Rossendale one not the Preston one) had one when he was guest DJ at Sparrowhawk Burnley. I can't remember when this was late 90s early00s? It was the 1st time I had seen a stock copy. Dave Ferguson (veep on here) will know cause he used to run it, Dave.
  3. Yeah, them letter things that go across the t*ts.
  4. No Tom, I don't think I have ever seen one (t-shit that is) I just scaned in the LP cover. I can imagine the alternative words said something about wizzing or speeding. And had alot to do with a certain substance. ATB Dave.
  5. Neil, all these records all old they are from the last century. Sorry I could not resist. Dave.
  6. Hi Jim, I never knew you where a member of the class of 55. There are alot of us about. Dave.
  7. Pete, it was vol 2.
  8. There you go...
  9. That room would be dead before the night is over.
  10. It used to be quite cheap (but somebody is gonna tell me it's in demand and it's now dear). It's a nice record it got played out alot back in 1973. There's a nice alt version as well on one of the 100 Club Ann. 45s. Dave.
  11. Someone had to come back at my post.
  12. I voted modern, but the main room should be rare and not tryed and tested.(over played oldies).
  13. Kev, photo of modern room Stoke from 2002.
  14. Yes early 75, when Dave Mitchell was being played. I remember I.L. playing it and saying if only Wigan had this, a few weeks later it was being played at Wigan.
  15. Fair enough Paul, but I started going in oct 71 and the earlier stuff tends to get over looked. The three I picked where big in the winter of 72/73. Dave.
  16. Still playing northern in 76, but by 77 mostly Jazz-Funk or New York Disco. Also early doors and at the end of night a lot of records that became crossover classics.
  17. Sequins "A Case Of Love" Four Larks "Groovin At The Go-go" Bob Relf "Blowing My Mind To Pieces" Most people remember the 70s tunes, I went with 60s for a change.
  18. Steve, What year did you go? Dave.
  19. Big Tune from the spring of 76.
  20. Thing is when the modern room at Stoke was busy a few years back, no statements like this at all.
  21. I am 100% with you on this one' In fact I sould say we are with you on this. It is poss to like soul 60s to 00s. Dave & Lou.
  22. Sorry it's a old photo took over 30 years ago before I sold it.
