  1. Barry, just had to Googie John Lydon to find out who the f*ck he is? What the f*ck as Johnny Rotten got to do with anything, lol.
  2. I was always led to believe that the Al Wilson on Wand ("Help Me") was not the same Al Wilson. I still like "Passport" played from the LP in the 70s. Also "50/50" from the same LP. As far as the "The Snake" goes yes I did dance to it back in the day, but wouldn't want to hear it played out. I don't hate it, there are loads records that have been played that are worse.
  3. Sorry always hated Danny Moore, and don't get me going about the flip.
  4. But I will.
  5. Just thinking it was cheap myself for this day and age.
  6. Dave, I didn't hear it till 73 late summer. Got a emidisc of it in 74, and got the copy you now own 76ish.
  7. It was always a hard one to get. I sold Greety a WD in 79 for £80 or there-abouts.
  8. I was thinking Queens Hall was in the summer of 74, May/June not Arpil but it doesn't matter. It was in the late summer of 73 when I `1st heard it, a good few months after the Torch closed.
  9. It had already been booted when Queen's Hall was on, had been played for about a year by than. There were lots of LP tracks only played back than circa 73/74.
  10. P.S. Dave said that you had got my old copy off him.
  11. Steve, I am sure that Russ's copy came off Malc. Malc told me he sold him the LP at Wigan Rugby Club (midweek venue before the Casino opened it's doors).
  12. Yeah Ian, Bob was wholesaling this, about 50p or 50c off him. I got and sold 25 copies in the East Lancs Area at £2 a throw' It was popular at most of the mid-week do's at the time. A few months later Andy Riding sent for some and he got the 2nd issue design. (we thought they were boots at the time) I can't remember what Andy did with them sent them back or passed them on? Iam sure people like Neil and John must have got 100s off him back than.
  13. Sorry Dave, didn't read your post right and got mixed up. I became aware of the flip sometime in the 90s, care of Mr Brown, lol.
  14. Dave, "To The Bitter End" was played out alot in the 1st year of Wigan.
  15. The main two that come to mind. Embers, broke one on my 21st pissed up. Wobat, sat on it.
  16. I remember hearing about this at the time, 75ish I think.
  17. Sorry Pete, I have always disliked it. Always been one of my pet hates, along with BenZine and Garry Lewis & The Playboys.
  18. The Soul Police, might have a dim view of this being called a soul record
  19. Yeah, Barbara Lewis is on the flip of Horace copy. I don't know if the 100 Club single was unfinished or not, never played it when I had it, lol.
  20. Judith sewing, are you having a laugh. And why not sneak the odd can in, Judith always had a bottle in her bag.
  21. Yes, the Original is single sided, plain white label on the flip.
  22. I am sure I got mine off you at the Mecca, did you get yours from J A ?
  23. Even if there was a so called war going on, Richard turned up at the Mecca loads of times before going on to DJ at Wigan.
  24. I sold Dave Fergie this and Janie Grant issue's for £40 for the pair in early 80s. The east coast demo used to sell them at £8 each, never had a west coast demo, and the issue that Dave got was the only issue that I ever had.
