    Can only echo what many have already said I feel very honoured to be playing a few records in remembrance of such a well loved truly nice Kind warm hearted gentleman always honest and truthful told it how it was but oh so funny at times , made me laugh so many times one regarding a rubber suit , I’ll say no more apart from he never batted an eye lid when telling me , I was nearly on the floor in bits , It will be a great day remembering a very genuine guy and also a big thanks for the people who have organised all this truly inspirational you have really done both paul and yourselves proud very well done bless you !!

    IN The Groove Soul Events present’s The Soul train mini nighter at the Southport railway club 8 til 3Am DJ’s Fred Krol , Stuart Bennett,Paul Shirley, chic Mullineux, Mark Speakman, Calvin Hughes ,Mick Smith due to the popularity of the previous charity all dayer i have decided to carry on with regular but limited events a year, many people mentioned how much they enjoyed it and when are you gonna do another one ? So here you are the main theme is quality dj’s a mixture of everything in one room played on original first issue vinyl only on this night I have recruited two good friends residents at the original Burnley all nighters , with reputations second to non along with other quality dj’s should be a night to remember!! Dj times 8-8.30 mick , 8,30-9 paul ,9-10 Fred ,10-11 Stuart , 11-12 mark , 12-1 chic , 1-2 calvin ,then 2-2.30 mick .2.30-3am paul finish , please note a few people have been asking why Fred and Stuart are on early ? Fred & Stuart asked for there times personally so I’m just pleased to have them on regardless of what time !! Directions …the actual entrance is off St Luke’s rd look for sign either on the left or right depending on which way your coming from saying Rosehill Business Park outside a boiler shop that’s the alleyway leading to the club !!

    Well ten times better than expected how many times does that happen very very few , over 100 in including dj’s and partners and they was certainly happy happy people , from Johnny western who was off his rocker but very entertaining bless him ! don’t think Southport has had anything like it before ? Well not for the last 15 years well apart from carols do once a year sorry , first record on the deck was Salvador’s followed by many more , crossover different times of the day later on more of todays more up front current nighter tunes all original of course what a splendid day

    Hello I thought it only right to come on the thread and say something I like to keep folks in the dark with my choice of records on the night , but also wish to thank you for asking me in the first place it will be a privilege to play some records in such a talked about popular venue , I was gonna give you a riddle to solve regarding one of my favourite records I will be playing but it’s too easy so decided against it lol it’s to do with a bird lol

Only expenses taken is a little towards fuel cost, every DJ has given their time for nothing !! Most are travelling a fair old distance from around the country very kind and lovely thing to do! so please come and enjoy the day and all for such a good cause Charity no 1005165 directions from Sussex rd , just before traffic lights (there are a few depending on direction) look for a sign saying Rose Hill business park there is a alleyway right next to it , next to a gas boiler shop !! go up the alley your there!! The alley is opposite large reddish brick building it’s Mosque ! Nothing like a traditional one , games room has giant tv thought it worth mentioning!!!!

    Personally I couldn’t care less ,but I am interested slightly because he had a picture of my record on there and I have had it a long time and so did the person I bought it from the person I bought it from is very well known doubt it’s same people , the picture is all over the net my guess is he used that picture from the net ,Phil asked a genuine question that many people I know have been interested in , considering it was my record displaying in his YT channel that’s my justification!!

    I remember you selling regularly some tasty records now and again on here surely you ain’t that out o touch?? Didn’t you auction the odd one ? Pretty sure I won one going back 13 years though lol , for that particular one , can’t remember what it was but was only about 6 in the U.K. back then can’t think for the life of me what it was

    Hi Steve , I have learned the hard way it’s better to keep quiet regarding this subject over many years but what I will say is this their seems to be youngsters mentioned a lot , well my disappointment isn’t with them it’s with very well known established names best I leave it at that

    Loud not so bloody bad it was loud , every conversation I reckon I had was with my hand around my gob and other persons ear , taking it in turns to speak avoiding spit and horrible breath that was in mrms mainly as I never spent much time in the big hall , much preferred the nutters in mrms like minded people btw nearly deaf now
